(CNSNews.com) - Acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf began his congressional testimony on Tuesday with an announcement:
The DHS office in King County, Washington, is closed for two weeks, after an employee apparently contracted coronavirus after visiting a relative at the Life Care nursing facility, which is experiencing a deadly coronavirus outbreak.

Not good. King County is truly a hotspot.
Interesting from a Dr in Italy about what he is seeing
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0mOEX3OxPg
Basically, X ray and test show negative. COme in with shortness of breath later. CT scans show it.
Also, has seen people that are in 40s.
In the beginning there is not enough viral load for the test.
Pneumonia happens at high speed.
FOr people not in serious condition - change position is something they are trying.
I can’t understand some of what he is saying when talking about what he is seeing in the lung. His accent is throwing me off.
Super Deluxe Over-reactions!!
Something weird about this group of infected people. Sounds like a planned infection. One minute I think things are overblown and then I go into a state of paranoia.
I think you just have to treat it like you would the flu in terms of simple precautions...unless you are elderly or have underlying condition ...and hope for the best
I do think you need to stock up on stuff because I am seeing panic buying in some things and I am not on the west coast. Also, clearly people are buying to profiteer as well.
You can’t find hand sanitizer anywhere here so I bought some stuff to make my own. Aloe gel and 91 percent alcohol.
Also, buy your goods that you are going to use to combat sickness..whatever that might be...and I say Liposomal C for sure!
I have bought two months supply of stuff that I absolutely can’t do without. Why I didn’t think to buy hand sanitizer is beyond me. Brain fart.
I am curious, you seem to be on a mission to post constant bad news related to this. I doubt if l am the only who is wondering what your motives are. I am not accusing you of cultivating panic but you are all over this thing.
What’s “elderly?” I guess I am one...but don’t feel like it.
I’ve got everything I need. Food, gas, propane, guns, ammo. And I’m in a very sparsely populated area. But I can’t live like a hermit. I think I’ll just put my faith in God and carry on. The hysteria and panic is probably the worst thing.
What is “change position”?
I hope all the infected Iranians don’t realize they can just waltz on in through Seattle now...
Just stop . move on to what interests you...and oh I went LONG Tsla today.
well...that is a good question. That Italian Dr addresses it.I kind of chuckled when he was talking about ages but now i can’t seem to remember why.
I think in the 70s was not considered elderly for him.
He didnt mention seeing anyone less than in the 40s.
I consider elderly in the 70s and 80s but I suppose it depends on your health. In your 70s you are more prone to have cancer growing in your cells, break bones, etc.
Instead of laying flat on your back they move you around if you aren’t in serious condition. Which makes sense from a pneumonia perspective.
I tried what a Dr here called the gravity method when I was younger. Hung over the side of the bed . It worked. Didnt have insurance.
BTW...there are at least 11 DHS offices in King County...article did not say which office was affected
My favorite story today is the wacky Canadian guy from WHO that lauded Chinese Health care.
Iranians can go there.
Saw an article where Iran is claiming they are telling the truth about the numbers and the rest of us are lying.
A spokesperson for the department confirmed to CNN that the facility is a Citizenship and Immigration Services field office located in Seattle.
Acting Homeland Security Deputy Secretary Ken Cuccinelli wrote in a series of tweets Tuesday morning that the employee was exhibiting “flu-like symptoms four days after visiting the nursing home” and that the individual showed up to work in the days between their possible exposure and when they became ill.
