Regardless of political orientation, my prayers go up to the Lord for Battista's family for comfort in their loss.
I remember her. she always looked kind of cross-eyed. Good anchorwoman, though, back in the early days when it was just headline news and not constant political agendizing.
Yes, I vaguely remembered her. I wish CNN would go back to those days of just reporting the news.

I agree, it was much better and useful then, you get some news and the weather. I’m not a big fan of any “cable news” as it is now, liberal or otherwise. Just read the damn news.
At any rate, she did a good job in her time.
66 is very young these days.
4 years is a lifetime with cancer. Prayers up for her family.
I liked her, too!
That sucks.
RIP!! She was from the days when CNN was a credible news agency.
My understanding about cervical cancer is that the occurs to women who have had several different sex partners.
A classic study of the disease involved a population of Catholic nuns vs. other women. Bruce-Caitlin Jenner was not part of the study.
Anyway, I am not going to judge the departed individual. But the science is out there.
+1
Not quite. Google it.
That is untrue. My mother had cervical cancer when she was about 36 years old, had been married to my father since she was 19 and had three children. They are still both with us at ages 94 and she will be 92 in a month. Your information is not accurate I can assure you. Irritating I even have to post this.
And yet you did. Based on erroneous information to boot. Did you attend med school in Nigeria, Doctor?...
Condolences to family and friends of Bobby Battista.
I liked her as well. Also loved Cheryl Jones doing the weather in her sweaters and Jeannie Meserve, pretty smile. RIP Bobbie!
Ah, yes, some weather girls made even the worse weather seem nice! I fell in love with a few over the years...
