Didn’t click on the link...after all,it’s The Guardian. All I want to know is...at what point in this piece did The Guardian blame Trump?

He wonders how he got coronavirus. One thing he did different from routine was to buy a mask. Possibly he got the virus from already-infected people buying theirs, too.

What amaze me was his age. He was 21 and still needed hospital bed to recover.

[[my muscles became sore all over.]]

Was watching fox’s ‘health experts’ discuss the coronovirus and they said what sets it apart from regular flu was that it didn’t cause muscle soreness

So what’s the truth?

"Now that I think of it, I might have missed the best time for treatment, failing to contain the virus with antiviral rugs in its early stages."

I had thought that antiviral drugs had not been shown to be effective (?).

Not sure China (ex Hong Kong) has a very well developed public health or hospital care system.

I'd think that selling live, wild animals in food markets has been prohibited in most developed nations since at least the 19th Century. (For reasons that were probably empirically determined by the 19th Century.)

I agree that being treated for a potentially fatal viral illness in China is probably pretty close to Hell.

This US administration is establishing new norms of behaviour.

Translation: “We’re not getting away with or vicious name-calling, vilifying crap anymore”.

Lots of speculation that NE Asians are more susceptible to this virus. They have a certain gene you can look up.

Asians more susceptible to 2019-nCOV? : Coronavirus
https://www.reddit.com/r/Coronavirus/comments/f5cf...
So, the virus attacks this enzyme called ACE2. We also noticed that the only Asian donor (male) has a much higher ACE2-expressing cell ratio than white and African American donors (2.50% vs. 0.47% of all cells). This might explain the observation that the new Coronavirus pandemic and previous SARS-Cov pandemic are concentrated in the Asian area.

Kind of sad that for spiritual help, Tiger had to turn to his favorite anime show (cartoon).

Damn. Sounds exactly like the flu I had last month. The constant cough was the worst. No - I haven’t been to China nor do I know anyone who has

Well it shows this virus is like a bad flu. So i just had the flu and it aint fun. And if everyone in your sphere of influence gets the flu things can grind to a halt. But they will pick back up again. I just feel sorry for elderly and others more susceptible to flu bc this won’t be good for them.

His experience sounds like a party compared to my 2 lifetime flu experiences. Being flattened while alternately being in a pizza oven or deep freezer and your body feeling like you had been beaten with a rubber hose. You fear coughing because your ribs hurt from coughing. Getting up to go to the bathroom brought on a massive headache. I have to laugh at people walking around with sniffles who say they have the flu.

Very interesting. Poor dude, so glad he recovered. Only 2 family members caught it from him _ at least 2 did not. I wish him well and glad he told his story. Other than living in Wuhan, he had no idea how he got the virus.

The way this story is described for some reason causes me to think that this virus was “released.” Based on the description of this particular person’s experience with the virus, It seems to me that those exposed to the primary release were effected the most, and the secondary and tertiary ... “exposures” seem to indicate that the virus loses its efficacy, ie; the elderly grandma and parents became ill but recovered without hospital visits or targeted treatment. JMHO?
