I ‘ll probably drop in on Monday and see what it is like. (It might be interesting to just drive by there tomorrow - but any weekend it is crazy. Ok - maybe I'll drive by the street on the way to the store just to see how backed up the road is!.)
I was telling a young gal we know that it can't hurt to prepare. “Well, I don't have much room in my apartment for all that stuff, so I just shop every few days.”
We saw her tonight. “You'll be so proud of me. Last weekend I went shopping and got my entire pantry stocked, and with some canned food and water under my bed. I'm good for a few weeks if I have to! And I bought a bunch of extra food for my dog.”
Yeah-we began our peeps on the 22nd of January after I watched the Event 201 pandemic exercise on YouTube and realized the globalist game plan if this were to get out of hand. So far-the script is being followed.
I don’t normally do “panic” buying. Farm background-we always canned and preserved months worth of food, and had a well stocked pantry. So that’s what I’ve always done. Guess we were preppers and didn’t know it.
I bought masks and all that stuff at least 5 years ago. We always have a couple of the big hand sanitizer refills and 5 full sanitizers in the 4 bathrooms and 1 in the kitchen.
I put a bar of soap in every drawer with clothes-helps it smell good, and we keep a box in the pantry of hand soap and three 3 gallon buckets of laundry detergent etc.
It was just a month of regular restocking for us. Except for duct tape-I had let the supplies get low on that.
Johnny Carson would be PROUD!!
