She did get charged with a felony.

When I was in my early 20's, the hot water heater decided to blow while my parents were on vacation. Not knowing what to do, I called 911. The told me it was okay, despite the scaring noises it was making, to go ahead and shut off the valve.

I'm still embarrassed over that call.

But this woman--some people absolutely have no shame.

If she was kicked off the parent’s plan, how was she able to call 911?

This has to be her - Lord, she’s a real estate agent. Let that sink in...

Ha ha! I once called 911 to report a hot air balloon that was being twisted and turned, violently by the wind. I saw it happening about a half mile away, out of my bedroom window. As the operator took my information, I looked more closely at the crisis. To my horror, it was just a huge advertising balloon at a nearby car dealership!! Totally embarrassing as I fessed up to her.

Today I ran out to drop off my rent check, mail a Netflix DVD, and stopped at McDonald’s to get a breakfast sandwich and some coffee. I went inside instead of going through the drive-thru. The young kid who waited on me must have been new, because he had to ask somebody if they served hash browns during the day. I told him that they better have hash browns because I didn’t want to have to call
911 about it. At least he got the joke.

I am on a plan with my parents, as is my husband because it’s cheaper per person, but I pay for my husband and me, and he pays for the home’s internet. We’re all under the same roof because my Mom can’t afford her property taxes without my husband and me paying rent. We’re in Illinois, and taxes have shot up.

Honestly, I’m disgusted by my generation. I truly am. My peers didn’t learn to think for themselves; the way our government wanted it.

I immediately thought of this video while reading about this Millennial. It’s a must watch if you haven’t seen it yet.

The article states she’s 36. 36! More than old enough to know that calling 911 for something other than a true emergency is a big no-no. Then again, it shows some people’s first thought when things don’t go their way is to call the government for help.

The follow up story:

https://www.cantonrep.com/news/20200227/plea-deal-for-jackson-twp-woman-over-911-cellphone-complaint

Yes, it got knocked down to a misdemeanor. Community service, probation, a small fine and she has to do mental health counseling.

Also yes, she is the real estate agent. And she gives her excuse in the article .. ADHD and sometimes overreacts when not taking her meds.

Rather than calling the entitlement brats millennials, we should call them parasites.
