No, I simply like to treat others the way I want to be treated. I disagree with her politics and yet do not want to disparage the work she did that passed scientific review.
She appears to have been helped along the way in all her endeavors. When interviewed, she can spout a coherent and logical point, but questioned to expound further, she laughs and throws up her hands, admitting she's already told you everything she knows.
Thanks for your reply. High school students can and do benefit from those science programs and many others. Then, in your case, you majored in a science in college and went on to enjoy a career in a field of science. If someone asked for your credentials, you’d probably have a long history to point to.
AOC’s award may have been impressive for a high school student, but it’s not a serious credential for a 30-year-old woman. After claiming that Mike Pence doesn’t believe in science, she deserves the backlash.
Could this experiment have been copied from about a 20 year-old “New Scientist” magazine?
It would be terrible if AOC stole part of her science project the way she stole from her co-workers.

I’m trying to remember from 35 years ago when I did F&B. but I remember it was different rules depending if the bartender did most’y / all service bar vs mixed service bar and straight customers.
There was also issues when a customer started at the bar and then moved to a table when it was ready/ his party fully arrived and the check moved from the bartender to the wait staff...
I remember bigger issues in a very small upscale places where there was team service, and often the back server floated between teams, and as everything was pooled, there would be arguments because some waiters were much better at up-selling / giving better service / getting 20-25% tips vs newer/lazier staff whose customers just tipped 15%... plus the service bartender and busboys got a cut, (this was a a place where meals ran $65/person minimum for lunch, plus expensive wine...)
Clearly AOC ripped off her co workers.
Pooling the tips doesn’t sound fair.
You had a lot of experience. My only experience in a job with tips was bussing tables at a restaurant/bar for a short time in high school. The waitresses there didn’t pool their tips, but each one shared a percentage with the busgirl on duty.
So, if this story about AOC is true, then she allegedly gave the waitress $50 and tried to keep $510 for herself. lol
