A sea of red MAGA hats and chants of “four more years” filled the parking lot of the North Charleston Coliseum on Friday, a day before South Carolina’s highly anticipated Democratic primary.

Notes from the rally:
Arrived at noon. Easily got into coliseum. Had to park a half mile away though. Luckily I parked next to a Jim & Nicks BBQ so all I had to do was smell the BBQ cooking to find my car.
Hooked up with four women from Greensboro which made the wait in line fun. They were even more right wing than me. Hard to believe.
The Donald was on top of his game. He was funny, connected to the crowd. Ad libbed a lot.
The crowd was pumped and ready to roar. At every predictable point in the talk the crowd was ready to chant, boo and cheer. Like being in church.
Met a guy in the concession line who flew down from Boston just to attend the rally.
I had a great time. Very uplifting.
I watched some of it and Trump was really on his game last night. He is a remarkable entertainer and was thoroughly enjoying himself. Bet it was fun.
I enjoyed watching the young people behind Trump. Looked like they were having a great time. Hope for the future.
Except the cleanup afterwards was MUCH easier! :-)

Mr. GG2 and I attended a rally early on in 2015 before metal detectors and SS protection. Somebody was asking me about it and I said the same thing you did. It was very uplifting. One of the best most memorable experiences of my life.
Before the rallies that I attended, he had them playing an instrumental version of that beautiful aria from Turandot.
Maybe Trump's got it all going. He's the great unifier, after all!

I heard the Village People endorsed Trump playing “Macho Man” and “YMCA” at rallies.
The sooner the "party" of slavery, the ku klux klan, Jim Crow laws, the Cherokee Trail of Tears, the Democratic White Primary, illegal immigration, voter fraud, infanticide, and "impeachment" is discarded into the garbage dump of history, where it belongs, the better for all the world.
Amazing.....15,000 people inside the arena and 15,000 people outside the arena watching Trumpie on large screen TVs!!!
