Bernie Sanders just might win the South Carolina primary on Saturday.
That's the real headline out of a new poll conducted by NBC and Marist College that shows Sanders trailing longtime South Carolina front-runner Joe Biden by a narrow 27% to 23% margin, with five days of campaigning remaining. (Several recent polls have suggested a similar tightening.)
While the top-line number draws the eye, it's a series of other questions sprinkled throughout the poll that seem to suggest a path to a massive upset victory does, in fact, exist.
Should Sanders score the upset, it would end Biden's campaign -- whether or not the former vice president chose to acknowledge that fact. And with a weakened (or non-existent) Biden on Super Tuesday and beyond, Sanders would likely become the landing place for many black voters. Which, when combined with his support among white and Latino voters, woud make him incredibly difficult to beat in the Democratic nomination fight.

If Biden has a big lead in polls, that just gives permission to stay home and not vote.
Probably trying to convince their “base” that Biden is the winning horse and get them to make it happen...they know how easy it is to lead their brainless base by the nose...but some of them seem to be waking up...if Biden wins, it will likely by by a slim enough margin to make it another Pyrrhic step towards his final demise...unlike Epstein/Seth/Haney, and a host of others, Biden really has been committing suicide.....
Polls are useless anymore. My phone rings 6 to 8 times a day, I never answer it.
Also, in spite of being leftist, George McGovern was a genuinely nice man.
When he lets his cover down it’s obvious that Bernie Sanders is a nasty little prick. And he’s much further to the left than George.
Are they only polling democrats?
If so you can bet good money Biden is done.
The republicans are voting in this open primary specifically to sink Biden.
He’s toast.

Joe has the Insanity Defense ready for him. All he has to do is show debate clips. But his kid and others in his family may not have it so easy.
He could plagiarize Hillary and say he ain’t no ways tarred.
Or better yet he could remind blacks that they will be put back in chains.
Sanders wins South Carolina and they might as well give him the nomination.
