More Republican groups hoping to meddle in the states Democratic presidential primary on Saturday have decided who will get their vote.
The Greenville Tea Party has chosen to support for Vermont U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, as he has risen in the polls and has won the popular vote in the Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada contests.
Former Vice President Joe Biden has consistently led in the South Carolina polls, but the lead over Sanders has shrunk in recent weeks.
Stephen Brown, the former chairman of the Greenville Tea Party, said a few thousand votes may tip the scales of Saturdays primary in Sanders direction.
Hes doing well in the polls, Brown said.
A Sanders nomination would provide a clear contrast with President Donald Trump in November, supporters of the so-called Operation Chaos movement say.

“Yeah, because Operation Chaos worked so well last time around. It gave us Obama, who we were assured could NOT win.”
_______
Operation Chaos was in support of Hillary AGAINST Obama.
Biden is the weakest candidate. However, be careful what you wish for!
Imho. The Dems have been doing this for awhile since Reagan sometimes you win Yada yada yada
If somebody gets 3 to 6 percent of the vote... anything less than the 15% floor ... they get no delegates. So a vote for Tulsi just doesn’t count at all.
I think you're crazy to help put Sanders as the nominee. Sanders is totally crazy anti American, a total nightmare. Weirder things have happened in the past. Look at the Kennedys as an example. We do not want some event out of our control to have a chance of getting Sanders in office.
Re “Be careful what you wish for.”
When all the choices are bad, there are no purely good wishes. You place your bet knowing that.
I’m hoping death by natural causes and/or debilitating diseases disrupt their primary process.
I’d rather have Sanders than another Deep State wolf in sheep’s clothing.
Operation Chaos was to screw with the democraps, and it did. But lets be real, if McCain was alive today, any of the Democraps could have beaten him.We lost because we dont demand Republcans that stand for us, Incumbants and next in liners. That gives us RINOS and Bushes everytime.

I’ve been giving it a lot of thought since I’m a Super Tuesday open primary state (VA). The best case scenario is that Bernie emerges from a second ballot at a chaotic convention, but it’s more important that he becomes the nominee.
Bernie is a bit of a wildcard since he’s the only Democrat with real supporters, but if we can’t beat a straight up communist with a top 5 president in US history, the country is already finished and it’s better to know that now. I will be voting for Bernie on Tuesday.
On Tuesday night, Minnesota held its precinct caucuses. This year was academic because we finally set up a primary election on March 3rd.
All of the caucus conveners in our area were urging people to vote FOR Trump in the GOP primary and give him a good showing. In my precinct, there was some lighthearted discussion about whether an Operation Chaos thing would be good here.
The most recent poll I’ve seen has Klobitchar at 29% and Sanders at 23%. Warren comes in at 11%. No one else comes close to double digits in the poll.
I’m tempted to cross over and take a Dem ballot in the primary. Am thinking about voting for Bernie - not only because I think he’s the most beatable in November but I want to see Klobitchar embarrassed at being unable to win her home state.
I probably won’t know for sure what I’m gonna do ‘til I vote.
I would like for Bernie to have a plurality going in to the convention, but not a majority of the delegates. Let them fight it out at the convention. I don’t see anything good for the Democrats coming out of that.
Operation Chaos last time was not to nominate Obama. It was to keep Hilary in the primary. Why do people keep getting it backwards? Or is this just your own Operation Chaos to spread disinformation?
Thats how I remember Op chaos too.
Bonus lurking on the DU board and witnessing the meltdowns. Common theme was if you supported Hillary you were racist. If you supported Obama you hated women. Obviously not all of them, but the more mentally disturbed woke posters felt that way.
They were just SO woke before it was even cool (to them) to be that. It was glorious watching them all take a bite from their own crow dish. Not that they learned a damn thing, especially since their candidate won. But for a minute I thought they may actually learn something.
Cheating: It’s what they always do, or always try to do.
Who shall I vote in California for the max chaos?
The maximum chaos would be for Bernie to have enough delegates to lead comfortably then watch the Democrats screw with him in order to turn it into a brokered convention and pick a different nominee. The Bernie Bros would be so frosted they will riot in Milwaukee.
We would see a fractured party and proof positive to practically everyone that the Democrats cheat like hell. In fact, I’m not so sure that the Dems didn’t intentionally botch Iowa and some other states for the very purpose of denying Sanders delegates proportionally.
I think California already has maximum chaos, although I expect some to be exported into Milwaukee this summer. Vote for President Trump. Tell your friends and family to vote for President Trump. If President Trump receives more votes than all the Demonrats put together, that would cause maximum chaos, as Demonrat officials scurry around the voting machines to determine why they’re working.
