ABC News has suspended correspondent David Wright, after he was caught on tape making damning statements about his employer. In a newly-released Project Veritas video, Wright bashed ABC for only caring about profits and ratings instead of the “truth.” He also admitted his network spikes pro-Trump stories and doesn’t care about voters.
In another shocking part, the ABC reporter also boasts he is a socialist.

It is very common for large companies to suspend an employee with pay pending investigation. It gives them hope and keeps them calm until they can get them out of the building.
I was suspended once. It's no vacation. It's more like "Oh. my God, what have I done? What am I going to do?" 110% stress until you get a decision. If they do decide to let you go they notify you by certified mail. If necessary a couple of security guards will meet you at the gate and escort you in to clean out your desk.
In my case I got my job back but it was the worst time of my life.
ABC evening News last night genuflected to Iger with the news of his resign/reassign news. It was sickeningly ass-kissing. And as this Wright dude explained, everything is tied to some sort of Disney promotion.
No doubt a trip to Antibes for some self reflection will do him good.

They seem to think that the government building a road is a forma of socialism.
I keep telling them, no- the government does not build roads- it CONTRACTS with private companies that build roads. And when it does have a government road crew you have one many working and 8 layers of managers above him.
That’s not socialism.
It’s when the government owns everything and tells you when and where you need a road, all decided by a few hundred morons in central planning in Washington.
Or when the government decides there is only ONE brand of bread you can buy, or ONE type of car you can own, IF you are ALLOWED to own a car.
And decides what job you can have, and what school you’re allowed to go to.
Government planning is a centralized nightmare.
Real socialists aren’t against profit. This guy is a communist.

Most remarkable is that they actually reacted to a Veritas video. Usually, they just pretend they don’t exist and pressure You Tube to take them down.
Well, as was pointed out, being a Commie loon wasn’t his sin. You never mock the network you work for. It’s one reason why NBC (General Electric) did not want David Letterman taking over for Johnny Carson. He made fun of both almost every night on his old NBC show. They went with Jay Leno instead, who kissed up to every NBC exec all the way down to the affiliates in Central Nebraska.
