What if I’ve been a stepchild myself?
When you judge a person as one who “thinks he has all the answers,” what criteria do you use?
I’m not asking you to tell me your feelings about the person. I’m asking if you ever use objective criteria.
But to make things easy for you, let’s characterize your comments for what they are with a question:
Have you ever read a poster who doesn’t believe his or her own posts?
You appear to be a somewhat thoughtful person tightly bound inside your own perspective. The result is you may have limited success completely relating to others.

I ask you. What possible good would it do for me to answer that question?

Now just try to answer the question. Ready? Here is the question:

Just answer that question, and don't try to avoid it by asking your inane question: "What if I’ve been a stepchild myself?"
Whether you are a stepchild has nothing to do with the question I asked you.
