I attended an event at which VP Biden spoke, roughly ten years back. Much of his speech was coherent (meaning an embarrassingly significant portion was not). The audience was polite, but not effusive or even enthusiastic.

I should feel sorry for the poor bastard but I don’t. Let him humiliate himself in front of the whole world. He deserves ridicule and scorn. The concept of hell as eternal punishment is so we can believe people are going to get what they deserve while we forgive people for their shortcomings as time goes by. But Robert Bork and Clarence Thomas were treated very badly by Joe Biden. I am sure there were many other judges at different levels that got similar treatment when the Democrats controlled the Senate.
So no I don’t feel sorry for him. I hope he wins big in South Carolina and Super Tuesday and keeps running. I am voting for him in the California open primary next month.
