Fox News senior judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano reacted to the Harvey Weinstein verdict on Americas Newsroom Monday, calling it a "significant victory" for the disgraced movie producer and a "monumental setback" for prosecutors.
Weinstein, 67, was convicted of first-degree commission of a criminal sexual act and third-degree rape but was acquitted of two more serious charges of predatory sexual assault, as well as first-degree rape. The charges Weinstein was convicted of carry a total sentence of up to 29 years in prison.
Hes still facing serious time," Napolitano said. "But, these are not the life sentences, the big ones the government wanted."

Nappy strikes again.
I’d like to see a rape victim kick this buffoon square in his dyed head.
What a stupid putz. At Weinsteins age, theyre a virtual death sentence.
There was no evidence.
Napolitano is unreliable in what he says......he’s been proven wrong mor times than not.
This guy Nap has lost at least 30 IQ points over the past year or so.
“Not a life sentence”
The guy is 67 yrs old so a 29 yr sentence makes him 96 when he gets out less any good behavior time.
His life as he once knew it is over.
Its slightly weird that this idiot gives his opinion on the air and someone at Fox thinks its worth spinning it into an article.
Hes’ not going to get 29 years.
He will only get 5 and be out on parole in 2.
Watch and see.
I don’t think Harvey’s too happy about it.
lol
At some point they lie to themselves. I’ve seen it in Savage and O’riely.
The trial should not have lasted more than an hour. Looking at Harvey Weinstein, the only way this man is going to get him some is through brute force. No way could anything with him be consensual....unless it’s with a blind hooker desperately needing rent money and even then sleeping outside in the cold on a heated grate may be the better alternative.

And youd know that how.....?
This criminal conviction does not preclude the pursuit of civil damages by the plaintiffs, or which I am sure there are many.
Weinstein ain’t out of the woods (not that he was going to be in this lifetime). But he can stand as a signal lesson for all would-be “predator alpha males” out there waiting for the opportunity to strike.
The wages, when a final accounting is made, are not so good.
Weinstein is scum, but you gotta admit..reading between the lines it seems that most if not all his conquests were in the end voluntary casting couch with lots of pressure and as further evidence, nobody including all the big time actresses pretending to be victims now had a problem with it for years. Whats a bigger deal to me is the attempted coverup and intimidation afterward.
Sure its scummy but I’m not really sure I would want to go down the path toward making pressuring someone into having sex even with a lot of pressure a crime. I always got the feeling the worst bits were chopped up to give an out of context feeling. This is really the corrupt establishment Left vs fanatic new radical feminist Left that wants to make sex illegal. Its really hard to root for either side tbh.
I'll bet that someone on the jury wasn't going to vote 'guilty,' so everybody else wanted to go home and voted 'not guilty' instead.
Had the judge accepted the hung jury verdict, Weinstein could have been retried. Now he cannot.
Nice work, you Honor.

And youd know that how.....?
There are victims that not had their cases tried against him

Agreed.
And then he’ll produce a film with “gritty insight” into the US penal system, which Hollyweird will eagerly lap up.
