Actor Michael Douglas hit the campaign trail on Sunday for former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who Douglas calls “the best presidential candidate in 40 years.”

The Fatal Attraction star appeared in Bloomberg’s hometown of Quincy, Massachusetts, and told the crowd, “This is really, truly one of the best candidates we’ve had running for office in 30 to 40 years,” the Boston Herald reported.

“the best presidential candidate in 40 years.”

So he must not have liked Dukakis, WJC, Gore, Kerry, Obama, and Hillary. What gives?

40 years ago Ronaldus Magnus was running for President.

I agree, Trump is the best person running for President since Ronaldus.

Well, I did just read something to the effect that daddy didn't leave him anything - most of his estate is going to charity. So Mikey there has gotta make bank somehow. Probably good money in the paid spokesperson gigs.

He’ll never have the class or the talent of his old man.

But he has his liberal DNA!

Being an accomplished actor with tongue and groove skill doesn’t mean one is qualified to publicly mouth off about politics.

“What gives?”

They’re both Jewish, and Bloomberg would be the first Jewish President.

His father was always a big Jewish activist. So the kid is supposed to make things happen once he’s gone.

Of course I’ll be pilloried here for pointing this out. But eventually they will be touting it - the Rat party always works that way. Too bad the “first blonde Indian with high cheekbones!” didn’t work out for them.

That would be the same michael Douglas that was left out of his father’s will.

Kirk Douglas apparently left Michael nothing

the net worth of michael and his wife is several times the value of the estate Kirk left to charity ...

didn’t need to: net worth of michael and his wife is 3-4 times larger than dad’s estate ...

For a large number of Americans, endorsement by some ignorant Hollywood actor is just one more reason not to vote for a candidate.

Best in 40 years?

He doesn’t mean Reagan (who ran again 36 years ago), so he means... Jimmy Carter???

“the best presidential candidate in 40 years.”

Not too long ago, many on the left were saying similar things about Michael Avenatti.

I read where Clint Eastwood is also backing Mini Mike, I think CE knows Trump will win now he gets to placate his Hollywierd cronies.
