President Donald Trump confirmed Sunday he would sign a peace agreement with the Taliban in Afghanistan if negotiators can work out the final details.

Two years ago I would have been outraged. But I have learned to watch and pay attention. Trump is an expert at this kind of thing. I trust his judgement and know he has a handle on how to deal with the Taliban if they try a double cross.
Well we know what will happen.
Question is once the training camps are setup what will happen.

In addition a lot of this activity is comping from Pakistan and nothing happened there.

Either way, this is not over but its what we have. But nation building should be reservered for broken sewer lines and crumbling infrastracture state side.

He just wants our guys out and he already knows what the taliban is gonna do once we leave.

I do hope we get out of there. If there is any huge withdrawl, the president will most likely still leave some skeleton crew for a few more years. That seems to be the pattern.

JMHO, but when the cave men known as the Taliban, saw what could happen to their leaders after President Trump gave the approval to TAKE out the Leaders of ISIS with such precision...suddenly the Taliban wants to negotiate PEACE.

Not kidding at all. And I personally know Afghanistan. Spent 4 years there. It’s a country full of people that has been totally screwwed since the 70’s. It’s a warlord/mafia culture anyway. But they have been literally knocked back a hundred years. If it can be fixed at all, Trump can get it done and make it profit the US at the same time.
