Bloomberg Trolls Trump With Billboard Taunts Near Rallies in Phoenix and Las Vegas

The campaign of Democrat presidential candidate former NY City Mayor and billionaire businessman Mike Bloomberg rented billboards with rotating trolling messages taunting President Donald Trump near rally locations in Phoenix and Las Vegas this week.

Rather than policy, the billboard messages mostly focus on personal attacks on Trump, such as “Trump eats burnt steak. Mike Bloomberg likes his medium rare.”

The set of messages released by the Bloomberg campaign: “Donald Trump lost the popular vote. Mike Bloomberg won the popular vote in three consecutive elections.” “Donald Trump went broke running a casino.” Donald Trump cheats at golf. Mike Bloomberg doesn’t.” “Donald Trump has declared bankruptcy 6 times.” “Donald Trump eats burnt steak. Mike Bloomberg likes his medium rare.”

That makes sense, as there was probably more steak here than anywhere else before refrigeration. Add the hot climate... lots of salt, lots of spices ... and cook it enough to kill anything left.

Bloomberg might be trying to appeal to the numerous transplants here. Instead his come across as an Anglo-philic snob. Here in the west, people tend to say, "it's your steak, PUT ketchup on it. I'll get my own." It is the snobs who put their noses up at a too large soda, a too cooked steak, or the forks placed out of order.

We use ketchup with steak and hot dogs. My hometown friends (Chicago suburbs) cringe when I put ketchup on a hot dog. I love Lea & Perrins steak sauce with my steak these days but ketchup is still okay.

Lol. My Dad always gave a very disapproving evil eye to anyone who used anything more than a dash of worcestershire sauce on their steak when my mom cooked them. A1 was verboten. “I’m not spending good money on steak for you kids to ruin them.”
