More than 1,000 military veterans have signed on to a letter condemning President Trump over his "sustained attacks" on Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, the Army official who provided damaging testimony during the House's impeachment inquiry and was later recalled from the White House's National Security Council (NSC).
The letter, which was organized by the anti-Trump group National Security Action, condemned the dismissal of Vindman and his twin brother, Lt. Col. Yevgeny Vindman, saying it suggests that Trump is prioritizing "a personal vendetta over our national security."....
Signatories of the letter include former U.S. Army Europe Commander Lt. Gen. Mark Hertling, former Under Secretary of Defense Frank Kendall and former Connecticut Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Shepard Stone, The Military Times first reported.

They don’t mention the 18,900 + who have come out in support of the President and condemn Vindman. Screw the Shill!
Very true, and very concise...
This retired E5 also does a hard pass on signing- Maybe the Lt. Col will be posted to Adak Alaska or Thule Greenland in an administrative function. His paperwork for transfers will routinely be lost... .
There are 18.2 million veterans in the United States, according to the most recent statistics from the US Census.
CNN touted “more than a 1000 veterans” comes out to around 0.000054945 vets in disagreement with the presidents disgust with an officer who remains serving at the pleasure of the president.
An enlisted puke would have been toast by now.
I’ve seen enough of these cases where officers or civilians employed in the US government get off basically scot-free but enlisted personnel who would do the same crime would have been held to a much stricter punishment. And that makes me sick.
Yesterday it was a thousand judges, today it’s a thousand veterans.
Let 1000 Fake News stories bloom!
It says “1000 military veterans”, not “combat veterans”.
I’m sure they are very heavily drawn from the REMF Society.
But even so - there are millions who would answer a call to arms from the greatest American president in a long, long time.
Take it easy, I have a right to my opinion, don’t I?
You sure do so now explain why you are posting what some would consider a derogatory attack on one of the most pro Trump supporters in Hollywood........
Lets hear it bro........
Weasel face...lying bass-turd!!

There is definitely something about that dude’s face that strongly suggests the presence of real evil. I suspect a little waterboarding might reveal that there’s a hostile anti-American monster behind that smug face.
Those 1,000 are the political hacks that Obama foisted on the military during his 8 years of subversion.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There are very good reason for the founders to exclude the children of foreigners from being President with the natural born citizen requirement.
Obama is not a natural born citizen.
Yawn, another FR Bully, speaking up for “some” against me.
Sell it elsewhere.
Thank you.
So other way to get bribes, payoffs and kickbacks? Government funded?
This veteran ponders why Vindman hasn’t been charged with violations of the UCMJ yet.
Surely there are more queers in the services than that!
cripes if i could only spell rogues
good question...how DO they get funded?
LOL, that was my first thought. And we don’t have to scrape the barrel or recruit perfumed princes.
But not just here. I have spoken to a few veterans since that whole thing went down, and even though I live in a really blue state, not one that I know has had anything good to say about Vindman.
I sure as hell don’t.
Yep - spent 24 years in uniform and another 15 working with those in uniform - military has its own supply of left wingnuts too.
Who knew that there were that many REMFS in the military (this is sarcasm, we knew all along.)
