Last nights Democratic Debate was like a WWE wrestling event minus decent wrestlers. Seriously, if Warren could have grabbed a folding chair and slammed it over Bloombergs head she probably would have. Man, she was absolutely unhinged, which tells you she knows shes just about done.
James Woods summed ALL of this up in one perfectly hilarious meme:
That debate was a nonsense food fight.
Any serious voters who really wanted to learn about a candidate’s health care policy or tax policy was sorely disappointed.
That's good because it keeps Warren in the race since her chances had been plummeting. Why is that good you ask? Because the more viable candidates we can keep in the race the greater the chance of a contested convention and all the chaos that would bring.
These ‘candidates’ can’t talk issues without giving away their perfect stupidity... it’s much easier to slam one another. It’s about all they are capable of anyway.
It’s great theater too...
Of course the so called moderators ain’t worth squat or it would never have turned into that kind of scenario
Hardcore Dems will (of course) find one of the candidates to support, no matter what.
But a lot of the campaign is about attracting Independents. I just cannot imagine any true Independent watching that train wreck and saying, “I think I have found my candidate”. Unless, of course, they are thinking of Donald Trump.
Saved you the trouble of hunting for it like I did...
lol
The Minneapolis StarTribune (aka The Red Star) felt differently about Amy’s performance:
Normally this newspaper all but falls over itself in praising Amy.
But your overall point is correct. I want as many of these candidates to stay in the race as long as possible - and spend a lot of money and resources.
Never underestimate the hoi polloi’s desire to be entertained.
It was like a slow motion train wreck.
AGREE. She failed. Warren kept picking her up.
TRUE, but led the pack.
Number two, the mayor makes an interesting point. The mayor says that he has a great record, that he's done these wonderful things. Well, the fact -- the fact of the matter is, he has not managed his city very, very well when he was there. He didn't get a whole lot done. He had stop and frisk, throwing close to 5 million young black men up against a wall. And when we came along in our administration, President Obama, and said we're going to send in a moderator to -- a mediator, stop it, he said that's unnecessary.
BIDEN: Yes, let's get something straight. The reason that stop and frisk changed is because Barack Obama sent moderators to see what was going on. When we sent them there to say this practice has to stop, the mayor thought it was a terrible idea we send them there, a terrible idea.
And we are the one, my -- our administration sent -- sent in people to moderate. And at the very time, the mayor argued against that. This idea that he figured out it was a bad idea, he figured out it was a bad idea after we sent in monitors and said it must stop. Even then, he continued the policy.
Will Rush be doing an Op Chaos again?
I remember registering as a Dem back in 2008 and voting for Shrillary in the primary.
Unfortunately Indiana is so late (May 5) that it usually doesn’t make much difference.
Btt
It’s still on...
We all get to be Bernie Bros (or Sissies) for few seconds this primary season.
