Mike Bloomberg had a terrible night at the Las Vegas debate. On that point, Im in agreement with the conventional wisdom.
Im not in agreement that he is done as a candidate, assuming hes still willing to spend an additional half-billion dollars on advertising, paying social media influencers to hype him, and buying up Democrat policitians and media...
...Bloombergs reason to be in this contest is to be the last non-Bernie non-Warren candidate standing.

I learned that political campaigns required three things to be successful; a good candidate, a devoted organization, and money - in that order. All must work together and an abundance of one factor alone will not win.
Mini Mike did show he could take a punch last night without falling apart, although repeatedly staggered.
My guess is he will hang in there till the convention and be used to cheat Bernie again. This primary has become to D Party leaders less about beating Trump and much more about saving their control of the Party from open Socialist takeover instead.
I agree that he isn’t done. He’s so arrogant! No way is he going to back out now. He plans on being the last dog standing. We’ll see.
I may be naive in my assessment, but I actually hope that bloomberg buys his way into nomination and completely alienates all of the bernie-bots who will hopefully either stay home, vote for Trump out of spite, or write-in bernie's name as a protest vote. Although bernie is spineless and willing to take the humiliation lying down; I can't see his radical base doing the same.
The DRUDGE poll is interesting.
Biden at 26% the easy winner, Klobbie 2nd, she always does well in debates but nobody votes for her, Warren barely edging Bloomy, Butty in 5th and Biden a goner at 9%.
Bloomy didn’t come out so bad.
All that matters is if Bloomy is ahead of Biden, the rest will fade. Bernie won’t be able to expand past his fanbois.
I have a lingering fear that, if elected, she will issue a EO demanding all women wear variations of that horrible “ever-present leotard/short jacket outfit.”
That look is simply NOT FOR ME.
Agree, it’s between Bernie (win or lose he’s a plus for R’s), Warry (mired and going nowhere after losing about half her support), and Bloomy.
Butty and Bidy are sinking into the pit.
You watch, Bloomberg’s long knifes will be out for Warren. She will rue the day that she went after a guy with 60 billion!
Bloomberg has enough cash to get ALL of Warren’s school records leaked to the press, including the ones she claimed to be a Indian to get the Prof job.
She will be lucky to keep her Senate seat when he’s through.
Will someone please make a meme of Pocahontas holding up Mini-Mike’s scalp?
I still say Hillary is waiting in the wings. And Bloomy was supposed to run interference for her.
I still think Bolshevik Bernie gets boned by the DNC again, Bloomberg is the nominee and Milwaukee goes up in flames.
That’s still an unknown. Her VP hint may mean she knows she dead meat. Except for a cadre of angry women, she meets revulsion at any mention of her getting in the race.
Two-time loser in poor health with no people skills.
That would be fun. I must say, though, I enjoyed the flop sweat that broke out on Bloomberg when she was reaming him. In his arrogance, he didn’t think he needed to prepare for the assault on his character. What a schmuck!
Most of Fauxcahontas voters will go to Bernie.
Warren will pay for that flop sweat. Nobody amasses 60 billion without being ruthless.
Michael Moore, Ralph Nader and all the other Lefties who have been railing for decades about “too much money in politics” have been strangely quiet lately.
“”I had to laugh at how Bernie justified his three houses last night.””
I didn’t/couldn’t watch the whole thing so I flipped back and forth. I read the statement that was made but what was Sanders’ reaction?
In the end I suspect that the Democrats won’t be able to convince most of their voters to pull the lever for an ex-Republican Wall Street billionaire. If they nominate him that just means they’re running up the white flag (and they want to latch on to his wallet to fund their races downticket).

Hell actually like the new house he gets. So hell throw a fake fit and take the money and run. Good commie that he is. - b4its2late
My reason for thinking your assessment is not naive is the Trump as master persuader factor.Trump is predicting that the DNC will cheat Bernie again. The effect of that on the Berniebots will tend to be to make them adamant that Bernie will not be bought because they cannot be bought.
I.e., Trump is minimizing the possibility of a Presidential nominee not named Bernie Sanders coming out of the Democratic National Convention at the head of a unified Democrat Party. And there doesnt seem to be a lot of reason to expect that Sanders can do that either, so . . .
Other than that, Trump has promised to keep his powder dry until October.
