A Contrary View: Mini Mike Isn't Done Despite the Debate Debacle
Legal Insurrection ^ | February 20, 2020 | William A. Jacobson

Mike Bloomberg had a terrible night at the Las Vegas debate. On that point, I’m in agreement with the conventional wisdom.

I’m not in agreement that he is done as a candidate, assuming he’s still willing to spend an additional half-billion dollars on advertising, paying social media ‘influencers’ to hype him, and buying up Democrat policitians and media...

...Bloomberg’s reason to be in this contest is to be the last non-Bernie non-Warren candidate standing.

“Bloomberg’s reason to be in this contest is to be the last non-Bernie non-Warren candidate standing”

That’s easy to achieve for somebody with unlimited money.

Nothing like simple objectives, easily won.

Bloomberg knows the nominee will be chosen in Milwaukee by the super delegates. And he’d delusional enough to think they’ll pick him.

His performance last night negates that possibility.

He was a shoe-in up to that point.

Bloomberg adds an interesting element to the dem debates.
while he is a control freak and a egomaniac he recognizes that he made his fortune in America without the likes of these theoretical commies, and Statist monkey clown performers.

So are you saying that ButtyJig is just the low-hanging fruit?

The reason why candidates normally drop out of primaries is not because they can’t get support, it’s that they can’t keep enough staff on board to keep competing in primary contests with ad buys, media appearances, and campaign events because they run out of money. Bloomburg couldn’t run out of money of he tried, he is impervious to poll results though the price for buying another debate appearance may go up.

I'm thinking she got rejected from the cheer leading squad, probably for being a woman, and she never got over it.

“You might want to circle 15 March....the next debate.”

The next RAT debate is Feb 25th.

By March 15th Biden and Kob will have dropped out and likely Buttplug too.

Campaigns fail because of lack of MONEY! Not likely with Bloomie.

Likely for a hyper gag reflex.

“Bloomberg’s money and slick ads will power him through horrible debates, a lack of detectable personality, and past serious mistakes.”

If that was true Tom Steyer would be the front runner. $200 Million spent, less baggage than Bloomberg and more likable.

Steyer is still in the race spending a lot of money but is stuck in single digits because he got killed in previous debates.

Somebody called Warren "Machine Gun Kelly"----unstintingly spraying firepower over the
other more reserved candidates---managing to hit the pompous *** Bloomberg where it hurts.

Didnt Bloomie prep for the debate?

It's like he brought his wallet to a knife fight.

The man is a nightmare of a human being-----so callous----and completely oblivious to it.

I haven’t read the article (it’s a tradition!) but I agree, Shorty isn’t anymore dead than before the debate.
He’s still a player and doing better than I expected.

Either Bloomberg is spending a ton more, or he’s spending it smarter. I saw a few Steyer ads a while back, haven’t seen any in a long time. They were pretty generic. Bloomberg’s ads are everywhere, and some of them make him look like a good guy, which is a tall task! (pun intended).

From the clips I saw on the news this morning, it just looked like Warren behaving like an angry shrew berating her husband. And she looks ridiculous in that ever-present leotard/short jacket outfit she’s always wearing.
