The emergency meeting of federal judges to discuss the intervention by Attorney General William Barr in the sentencing of Roger Stone and President Trumps criticism of the proposed sentence was indefinitely postponed Wednesday.
The teleconference meeting of the leadership of the 1,100 member Federal Judges Association, comprised of sitting federal judges, was originally set for Tuesday, then was put off a day until Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. EST.
The groups president, Judge Cynthia Rufe (a Bush 43 appointee), had initially said the meeting could not wait until the FJA annual meeting in April.

Call stupid meetings and win stupid prizes.
Lol.
Bunch of stinkin’ skunks.
“Judge Cynthia Rufe (a Bush 43 appointee),”
In other words, a liberal judge, carrying water for the swamp.
Trump was making a list?
Barr, running the DOJ can make whatever sentencing recommendation that he sees fit and Judge Amy can set any reasonable sentence within her discretion, regardless.
It is, however, a violation of the Judicial Rules of Conduct for this coven of Federal Judges to comment on a case pending in another court.
A Bush appointee called the meeting? Anyone surprised by this? Didn’t think so.
I wonder how many folks, especially FReepers, besides myself called and left a respectful message for them stating just how upset I was with the two-tiered punishment system depending on if there was an R or a D after the name of the accused. I explained that real justice is equal, and that they should be ashamed of themselves for their unequal and political rulings.

Exactly right. We are seeing every day just how vast and deep the Swamp really is.
Its no surprise to see that it extends deep into the judiciary.
A judge is supposed to be an impartial arbiter in a case, not a commentator on the strategies and decisions of one side or the other. In a criminal case in Federal court, the prosecutors represent one side in the case: the people of the United States. A U.S. Attorney General who overrules his staff in a case is no different than the chief counsel of a corporation overruling a junior lawyer in a civil case. Its not the judges job to tell them how to run their side of the case.
Every one of those judges should be disqualified from handling any cases involving the Trump administration.
It is, however, a violation of the Judicial Rules of Conduct for this coven of Federal Judges to comment on a case pending in another court.

Coven...I like the way you expressed that. Perfect word.
Did I miss the FISA court emergency teleconference?
Conspiracy by the judges.
Deep State should get pink slips.
9 years for lying to the FBI. where is the sentencing for Comey, Clinton (Hillary), and the numerous others who made up the Steele report and allowed it to pursue as it was a fabricated lie to begin with.

Had liberal outlets bothered to act like journalists, they would have quickly discovered evidence of a partisan bias underlying the letter calling for William Barrs resignation.

If a cabal of Republicans had conspired to remove a Democrat president every single one of them would have been prosecuted in less than a year’s time. You can bet on that.
