The 27-year-old woman and her family were spotted walking about a mile east of the Otay Mesa Port of Entry about 2:30 p.m. Sunday. It is believed they used a ladder to get over the border fence, said Border Patrol spokesman Jarrett Decker.
Once they got to the Chula Vista station, the woman, the baby’s father and two children were being examined for a routine medical assessment when the woman went into labor, officials said.

Until we get rid of birthright citizenship not intended by the 14th Amendment, we should give parents who do this a choice: take the kid back to where you came from; or leave it here to be put up for adoption. In either case the rest of the family goes back.

Anchor babies. The new mother should be offered the choice of taking her “citizen” infant with her when she is deported or of giving the child up for anonymous adoption. Better, anchor babying should be made illegal. It is NOT a Constitutional requirement.

Agreed. The kid may currently considered a citizen, but the parents aren’t. If our .ilitary and expats can raise their kds overseas, why can’t they?
