We make 7 percent of the [global] mask supply, Bowen explained on Steve Bannons War Room: Pandemic podcast. China has steadily been taking away our mask business. In a few years, it will all be owned by China they sell the mask for less than I can buy the material.
Americas hospitals want to save money. The way Americas hospitals buy products its all rigged. GPO, group purchasing organization, bid these things out. Theyre looking for the low price, thats China. Thats why all this happening.
The United States is also entirely reliant on Chinese manufacturing for nearly all pharmaceutical drugs, generic prescriptions and over-the-counter product supplements and medicines including penicillin and vitamin C. If US-China tensions worsen, China could cut off antibiotic exports, throwing our hospitals into turmoil.
Bannon, a former top adviser to President Donald Trump, warns these foreign dependencies are at the heart of what it means to be made in America.
In order to have a secure nation, it more than just tanks and soldiers and missiles, there is health security. We are now paying the true cost of the China price, with this just-in-time inventory, he said. This globalization. It wasnt just about taking jobs, which is bad enough, it wasnt just about stripping our factories out of here. Its left us exposed as a nation.
We are now supplicants to our enemies. That is unacceptable and I know that is one of the reasons why Donald Trump is president of the United States.

Do you have any doubt that they would NEVER get off the D side of the house?
Awww.........I'd just get myself banned.
COVID-19
Global Declared Active Cases
02/17/2020 15:13 58,809 Active Cases
02/18/2020 15:23 58,789 Active Cases 20 fewer cases
This same thing will happen with cases outside Chine in the next day or two.
That’s why we need some amount of pain here - that’s the only way the Globalists will be discredited, once and for all.
Otherwise everyone will run back to low-cost China once this passes.
I just think that one million is not much of a stockpile.
Plug your noses...Poke your eyes out....
Tough to remain active when yer dead
So I guess globalization isn’t so great after all.
Prior to WW 2 didn’t Japan rely on us for imports.......
No they might be 20 years old and falling apart, but the Federal government doesn’t move that fast. Pretty sure no masks were leaving China anyway.
What good would the surgical masks do if it can be contracted through the eyes?

I strongly recommend that you dont order (wait listed) any N95 medical grade masks. Leave the limited trickle of supply to those families who understand their value. And thanks, in advance, for your sacrifice. ;-)
Why India? It is an automated production line. It can’t cost that much more to make it here.
That’s why they call it an active case.
Fatalities and recovered folkx need not apply.
I mean in general. They for example are already ramped up with an ability to manufacture meds cheaply. We’d be far better off strengthening our ties with them and disengaging from China.
Trump just needs to stop trying to strong arm countries into buying food from us they don’t want. I read today he wanted India to buy more turkey, blueberries, etc.
You’re not going to need 200,000 people in masks instantly.
If they aren’t covering up any breakouts (which is possible). Then you’re mostly talking medical workers and hospitals already have supplies.
I’m pretty sure we could ramp production quickly.
According to the Centers for Disease Chaos, masks dont work!
Well, we are a nation that was building a Liberty Ship in 6 wks
Crank up a few of plants, tell the Govt to step aside and I imagine a few trillion could be whipped up in short shrift.
Need someone to ‘pick the cotton though’
There are specific machines that have to be built first before any production can be ramped up. Those machines currently do not exist here in the US. Bowen says he is not going to ramp up because last time he did...everyone (customers) left him after the “danger” of H1N1 passed. He had to layoff 150 people and nearly lost the business.
He is not taking any new customers...only servicing those that were his customers previous to this latest scare...
We are on our own.
