Rouge on steroids means a really gaudy shade of red.
Not 4-D chess. POTUS is simply paving the way for commuting Stones sentence and pardoning Flynn and others.
Trump is looking at this through the eyes of someone who has SEEN, HELLARY, FBI, CIA, STATE, NSA corrupt players get NO JUSTICE!! I think Trump said why in the HELL should these folks be sitting in jail and frankly I dont blame him Blagojevich has been sitting in a federal pen for almost 5 years I think he has paid more of a price than anyone else!!! I know the guy is a Dem BUT come on people whats fair is fair!!!
George Ryan did less time for selling driver licenses to a guy who winds up killing a family on 294. Betcha Durkin didn’t say squat about Ryan being released eay.
Im happy to see him released early because he ought to be given the Presidential Medal of Freedom for lying to the FBI.
“Rouge on steroids”? Is that a new shade of cheek blush?
Seriously-doesn’t anyone know how to spell any more-I’m pretty sure the word the author of the article intended to use is “rogue”...
Isn’t this the guy that was opening his mouth about so many of Obama’s little indiscretions, like his real estate “deals”. And suddenly he just got taken out.
Maybe he’ll write a book. Watch this be the first politician book the NY Times WONT excerpt or believe a word of.
Blagojevich was found guilty, and that conviction still stands.
But the length of his sentence was WAY out of proportion, so the President’s action is right and just!!
“Maybe Trump is playing some sort of 4-D chess game that I just cant follow. But on the surface this commutation seems like a bad idea. “
This is probably political cover for pardoning the people Mueller railroaded. He had to do the Democrats first. If that’s the case, I understand and agree.
Doesn't make any sense that Trump would get involved at all...And that's why it makes sense...Must be something going on behind the scenes...
The democrats locked up Blago and threw away the key. Don’t listen to this republican Illinois house leader. There are few real republicans in Illinois. Blago was tossed in jail because he disobeyed the Obama people. The republicans have nothing to do with it. Republicans have no dog in this fight. Blago took the black vote away from the Chicago machine. And for that, they tapped his phones. They took him early in the morning in handcuffs. Its the same old story. The Obama DOJ people are ruthless. Blago will likely never be able to eat out in Chicago. He should move to Florida.
If I were the sentencing judge and in a generous merciful mood I would have given him life in lieu of the gallows.
Nothing is worse than Bill Clinton, in his last hours in office, giving a pardon to the fugitives Mark Rich and his partner Pincus Green, knowing full-well they were both fugitives from justice.
And these past two nights I've been watching the History Channel's docu-drama of George Washington, and puke every time Bill Clinton shows up to comment on the man. Why the History Channel decided to have the rapist, perjurer, and criminal Clinton comment on the Father of Our Country is beyond me.
The pedo scoutmaster of my boy scout troop pled guilty to four counts of child molestation of scougts and did less time in the slammer than Blago has already served. This isn’t a big deal. Trump is commuting a few years and not pardoning him.
8 years really is a long time for a politician to be in prison. Its like 56 years in regular citizen years.
Love our Prez, but this sucks.
Blagojevich was convicted of selling Obama’s former seat....but his criminal activities go well beyond that. He’s one crooked guy. However could be Trumps letting this dog out of his cage to see who runs to, or away from.
He has already served more time than most rapists and murders do...
All for something (buying political appointments or elections) that has always gone on, and still goes on...
Consider the 400-million dollar bribe that Blommersberg has paid to the communist media to propel him into the communist nomination for President...
Maybe hes tweaking James Comey. Comey hired the prosecutor who put Blago behind bars, Patrick Fitzgerald.
