Zis is KAOS!!!
Hasn’t Nevada done this for decades? Why is it suddenly a complete mess?
They aren’t picking the guy they are supposed to pick.
“BTW, why did this process work in all previous contests, and is only causing problems now? “
Apparently, a former Hillary consultant sold the party on how much slicker things would be if it was all done the modern way, with an app. The old way was also way easier to prove who had actually won by making a recount. (Provided there wasn’t an entire box of ballots “discovered” the trunk of a car that totally changed the results.)

Then they each call in or email in the results, and someone at HQ adds all of the totals.
What other technology is required?
As long as a trusted representative of each candidate at each polling place can see that the votes are being tallied and sent on correctly then everything should go smoothly.
There are certain things which don't require computers, and where computers actually make things less transparent and more complicated than necessary.
Early voting selecting first, second and third choices is in total contradiction with the concept of a caucus!
The reason—the caucus is an opportunity for campaigns below the 15% to make one-on-one pitches to members of other caucuses to consolidate behind one candidate.
If people are not in attendance they are not available for that discussion.
The large number of candidates make this a critical disaster.
Dumbocrats—you just can’t fix stupid!
Early voting is new—fatal error.
Switching counting methods two weeks before the caucus is new—fatal error.
The large number of candidates compounds the complexity—chaos theory in action!
“Campaigns warn of chaos ahead of Nevada caucuses”
indeed, chaos is highly likely:
