He did that in order to get the votes in support of the Gaza pullout, which was a wrenching ordeal in the country. The net effect was to geographically and politically split the enemies, leaving them naked to scrutiny. Only a-holes like Soetero and Lurch (and their EU betters) continue to fight for the destruction of Israel.
