RENO, Nev. - With the Nevada caucuses less than a week away, Democratic presidential candidates campaigning Sunday were fixated on a rival who wasn't contesting the state.
Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden and Amy Klobuchar all targeted billionaire Mike Bloomberg, accusing him of buying his way into the election and making clear they were eager to take him on in a debate.
He thinks he can buy this election, Sanders said of the former New York mayor at a rally in Reno. Well, Ive got news for Mr. Bloomberg - the American people are sick and tired of billionaires buying elections!
Their attacks are a sign of how seriously the field is starting to take Bloomberg as he gains traction in the race and is on the cusp of qualifying for Wednesday's Democratic debate in Las Vegas. Bloomberg has bypassed the traditional early voting states including Nevada, focusing instead on the 14 states that vote in the Super Tuesday primary on March 3. He has spent more than $417 million of his own multibillion-dollar fortune on advertising nationwide, an unprecedented sum for any candidate in a primary.

Well what the hell did they THINK he was trying to do??
He’s just got more money than they do, thus he can buy more stuff.
I mean, they’re not wrong...
Money talks. BS walks. Ask Fake Injun Squaw with her $3 contribution
It’s not that they are mad that he is trying to buy the election, it’s that he is driving the cost up making it harder for THEM to buy the election.
What was their first clue?
Anyone care to speculate how much money Bloomberg is offering Biden and Warren to get out by March 1? Suspect he is offering to hire their campaign staffs, assume their debts and hire them personally as “senior campaign consultants”
I believe that is by design.
They know we actually think and use critical and reasoning powers to formulate our thoughts which will direct our action(s), but they are going to do something they think we won't see coming (and if I'm correct ... they're doing good because I (and we ?) don't.
Three years of behind the scenes planning and moving chess pieces while we focus on an impeachment that was impossible and would never have appeared in any traffic court in the USA, let alone a criminal or impeachment process.
Why ?
Distraction.
They have something
But I don't know what.
Bloomberg is basically Hillary's snowplow. He's the de-facto DNC. He's buying up ads and support to freeze out the other candidates so he can gracefully hand over his nomination to Hillary at the convention. Spending $1-$2 billion for Bloomberg is the equivalent of buying dinner at a fancy restaurant for the rest of us.
Democratics specialize in class envy. Dont think they will play along with our billionaire vs their billionaire. Bernies folks will burn stuff.
Funny, when a Leftwinger is willing to spend hundreds of millions of dollars on an election you almost never hear them complain about it.
Also, Hillary has already bought off / has the goods on lots of people.
Biden is probably going to drop out as soon as South Carolina is over and he’s humiliated by coming in 3rd or 4th place. If he doesn’t, I imagine the DNC will put the screws to him.
They’ll probably do the same to Warren as they desperately try to find somebody to block Bernie from gaining the lead on delegate count.
The DNC is so full of BS that they can circumvent the planet many times over and never stop crapping.
The problem isn’t that he’s trying to buy the election, they all do that.
The problem is he’s using his own money. Being a democrat means spending other people’s money.
He’s breaking the number one rule of democrat politics!
Bloomberg to Dems: Jealous? Too bad for you turkeys. Nah Nah Nee Nah Nah. (sticks tongue out)
What was their first clue?? The 40 mil??
“Buying” an election is just part of the game plan of the Democrats. They are only hurt because Bloomberg is spending it on himself.
As a candidate Mike isn’t much better or worst than most of the rest of the field, but he has been sort of - clumsy. No real coherent message has surfaced, despite all the cash thrown at the enterprise.
The Democrats seem to think they have just one job, beat Trump. If so, they are muffing it up REALLY badly.
> He’s buying up ads and support to freeze out the other candidates so he can gracefully hand over his nomination to Hillary at the convention. <
But why would Bloomberg want to do that? What would he gain?
Yup. Doomberg is Hillary’s stand-in to get the nomination for her. The problem is that’s it’s assuming that Doomberg can actually get real support and votes. The Berniebots are gonna ruin that plan by giving their guy another long campaign run with tons of victories heading to Milwaukee, and Comrade Sanders knows he’s gonna get another house or two plus a ton of money to roll over again. The RATS are a total mess right now!
