Define ‘old’.
You better double-check your sources. Several of the recent dead in Singapore, Taiwan, and Japan are 30-40 years old.

Read somewhere today that very few children are getting it.
One problem right now is China is so huge and disorganized that even if China wants to keep decent records they really can’t. I haven’t seen suggestions from NIH or WHO regarding what more China can do.
Now, here’s something slightly encouraging that I read:
Underestimating the cases means the death rate is probably LOWER than current figures show. Many cases going unnoticed as people often recover easily and/or have little or no symptoms. Dying tends to get noticed, light cases tend to not get noticed.
Is it a “global pandemic” when one one or two people on a continent are infected? and the other 90-something percent are gathered in one place...China?
