Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) says in a new interview that she is not counting former Vice President Joe Biden out of the Democratic presidential race after two disappointing finishes in Iowa and New Hampshire.
"I think every one of our candidates ... would be a better president than the current occupant of the White House," Pelosi, who has not endorsed any of the 2020 contenders, said in an interview on CNN that aired Saturday.
"Frankly, with all the respect in the world for Iowa and New Hampshire, I'm not counting Joe Biden out," she added. "There are still race[s] ahead that are much more representative of the country."

"I've said many times, you can't be the nominee, you can't win the general election as a Democrat unless you have the overwhelming support of black and brown voters," Biden told supporters this week, noting that "99.9 percent" of the country's African Americans have yet to cast a ballot in the nominating contest.

As other FReepers have said, I would love to see Biden do well in South Carolina just to help keep the primary muddied.
Pelosi later added: “And I think Adlai Stevenson still has a good chance to beat Eisenhower.”
Does Biden think only white people can clearly see his dementia-fueled absurdities? All people who pay attention, regardless of their melatonin, should be able to see that Biden couldn’t get through a simple social gathering without help from his minders. I don’t believe the Dims will run a candidate in worse health than Hitlery.
Poor little Nancy is worried that if Joe gets knocked out he will be fair game for Trump to go after for corruption and the chips will fall clear back to her family.
Because if one half-senile, out of touch octogenarian can be tossed to the curb, she might be next.
Pelosi is very quickly turning into a female version of Baghdad Bob.
