Iranian writer and activist Ladan Boroumand sits down with Matt Kibbe to discuss her fight for human rights in Iran. She points out that the Iranian people have a yearning for personal liberty, rule of law, and economic freedom, but they fear to speak out against the tyrannical, theocratic government.

This is a really interesting podcast. Ladan Boroumand discusses the Iranian revolution when Khomenei took power, & some very hopeful things currently occurring in Iran. Worth the time to listen to.

That’s like saying I’m ready to win the Powerball Jackpot. Freedom may require sacrifice. Dictators don’t normally give up power voluntarily. As of now, it’s not clear that Iranians have what it takes to win their freedom.

The traditional source of weaponry for revolts is a combo of the local armory, and civilian officials, soldiers and merchants willing to cast their lot with the rebels. As of now, nothing even remotely approaching the scale needed for success has occurred.

First, find all the remaining bazzards that started that crap in the ‘70’s, and make them disappear.
