Apparently, Roger Stone himself may be his biggest enemy. He is said to have left more than enough evidence in his text messages. A treasure trove, as it was characterized by a prosecutor who has seen the evidence. His only hope is probably that the government would decide that a new trial would not be worth the effort.
If that were true then they would have charged him with more and they didn’t.
Would this prosecutor be a lawyer from the Justice dept?
One of the counts against him was lying to Congress. He never got a subpoena to testify before the House. He went on his own amidst all kinds of self-generated publicity because he's a showboating jackass.
