I would add that the President tell the Sec. Army to fire any general who complains about Vindman’s dismissal.
No matter who is friends are and how many stars they have on their shoulder they all answer to the President and CIC
That would truly send a signal within the Army as to who i running the show, and who you better not cross.
Do you know of any General Officer in history who could fire a President? Do you have any idea how many General Officers have been fired by Presidents? As officers rise in rank they become more and more political in how they approach their jobs and in order to make rank they need approval at the highest levels. General Officers in particular need to be approved for promotion by Congress but the President can stop that from happening as well as fire anyone of them.....just like Obama did (157).
DJT would have to specifically tell the Se. Army that as President he wanted this particular officer retired immediately. Big media screaming event to follow. This is something to watch closely.

Trust me when I say you will never hear a word from any active duty Officer in support of Vindmen. The retired “arm chair warriors will way in for sure but that is all.
The UCMJ specifically forbids members subject to it’s code to make any statements critical to any politician at all.
Listen as an ex military guy I can tell you that investigation or not this creep and his brother are radioactive to members of the military.

All the officers that got their stars under Obama got many promotions under Bush, too. It’s wishful thinking to fob their insubordination and worse off as an obama problem. The rot in the military brass is far deeper, unfortunately.

Not sure what your point is. All I am saying is if Trump wants these guys gone, they will be gone. He is the CIC and can fire ANY military personnel he chooses. He can, with a phone cal stop the career of any military personnel.

I know, but the UCMJ is selectively enforced these days it seems. Generals should be held to account for the officers beneath them since it is the general’s job to bring that officer along career wise.

Have been out of the military for many years but whether or not the UCMJ is selectively enforced or not it is a fact the President can do as he pleases with regards to firing any member of the Military.
Only Marines recognize POTUS as their Commander & Chief. The others only recognize chain of command.
No kidding! Unbelievable. There is no justice in this country.
