Interesting if true. OTOH, if the permanent government wants to give DJT the finger, including Vindman in the US Army War College Class of 2021, would certainly be a good gambit. War College graduates are considered certain picks for the next higher rank. So Vindman would be on track to be an O-6. Pretty good for a Foreign Area Specialist , who usually top out at LTC. Vindman must have pretty powerful friends with stars on their shoulders if he does go to AWC.That would truly send a signal within the Army as to who i running the show, and who you better not cross. DJT would have to specifically tell the Se. Army that as President he wanted this particular officer retired immediately. Big media screaming event to follow. This is something to watch closely.

I would add that the President tell the Sec. Army to fire any general who complains about Vindman’s dismissal.

No matter who is friends are and how many stars they have on their shoulder they all answer to the President and CIC

Do you know of any General Officer in history who could fire a President? Do you have any idea how many General Officers have been fired by Presidents? As officers rise in rank they become more and more political in how they approach their jobs and in order to make rank they need approval at the highest levels. General Officers in particular need to be approved for promotion by Congress but the President can stop that from happening as well as fire anyone of them.....just like Obama did (157).
