The Department of Justice (DOJ) will no longer pursue criminal charges against former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, closing a high-profile case against the former official whose conduct during the 2016 election came under intense scrutiny.
"We write to inform you that, after careful consideration, the Government has decided not to pursue criminal charges against your client, Andrew G. McCabe, arising from the referral by the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) to our Office of conduct,” wrote two officials from the D.C. U.S. Attorney’s Office. "Based on the totality of the circumstances and all of the information known to the Government at this time, we consider the matter closed."
Lawyers for McCabe — Michael Bromwich and David Schertler — celebrated the news, saying that McCabe and his family "can go on with their lives without this cloud hanging over them.”

I’ve read the IG report that found McCabe lied to FBI investigators while under oath. It’s devastating and proved he did just that. Thus, I’ve always viewed his case as a litmus test of the AG’s good faith in going after this whole seditious conspiracy. Barr just flunked it. There may be lots of BS reports, but NO indictments.
“One law for Democrats; another law for everyone else.”
And Republicans ALLOW it again and again, year after year, whether they’re the majority or minority, it’s always: “just vote us in... give us the house, give us the Senate, give us the WH...
And they screw US over EVERY time.

I’m certain that the reports are correct and that McCabe did lie. However, that doesn’t mean that the DOJ has a solid case that will return a conviction. I don’t know and I doubt that most who will comment on this do not know either. The real concern is that this confirms what we have suspected for years. The Washington Establishment has taken control of the Federal Government and will do whatever it takes to protect their operation. Donald Trump, AG Barr, and others are not going to be overcome this easily. This will take years and will require many outsiders to get it done. They are working overtime right now to destroy Barr. I’m not going to play their game.
Barr is part of the swamp.
I’m old enough to remember when “lying to Congrift” would get a Trump ally 9 years in prison...

I think you may have a very valid point. . .
With all that has been reported (including him given sworn testimony or under caution where he lied) I think him guilty enough to bring before a jury.
With that said, maybe, just maybe, they let him walk on this referral from the IG but have something in the wings that will stick like white on rice.

If properly coordinated, it would be a winning re-election theme for Trump to elevate the Federal Marshal class within Homeland Security as a 'regional enhancement' to the FBI; but after re-election actually write the enabling law as an FBI replacement, and reduce the existing FBI to paper shufflers for HS.
