When Chelsea Mitchell, ranked as the fastest girl in the 55-meter dash in Connecticut high school track, showed up for a competition last year, she knew it would be a challenge.
Her competitors included two biological males who said they identify as girls.
Mitchell, a senior at Canton High School, had seen the speeds posted by the two. She was aware that other girls had lost to athletes born as boys who identify as girls. But at the time, she says, she “could feel the adrenaline in my blood.”
That adrenaline wasn’t enough, though. Mitchell came in third behind the two biological males.
Ultimately, because of Connecticut’s high school athletics policy on transgender competitors, she lost four girls state championships and two all-New England awards to biological males who identify as females.
“It was definitely frustrating and disheartening to be right there, running for the biggest honors in the state, and to work so hard and try so hard to be the best in the state,” Mitchell told The Daily Signal in an exclusive telephone interview Tuesday.
Mitchell and two other girls from different Connecticut high schools, Alanna Smith and Selina Soule, are suing the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference over the policy that allows biological males to compete as girls with biological females in high school sports.
The suit, filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, claims that the state athletic conference is violating Title IX, the section of federal law designed to protect equal athletic opportunities for women and girls.
Smith is a sophomore at Danbury High School and Soule is a senior at Glastonbury High School whose story has been chronicled by The Daily Signal since last May.

This whole thing is insane. If you were born with a dick and have much testosterone as compared to real females you have a total advantage in sports due to muscle mass and bone structure. If you want to compete against real women you are just psychologically disturbed or just a political charlatan.
For those willing to cut their dick and testicles off and wait five years to compete against women this is okay with me. Few will. The reason for the five year waiting period is so their muscle mass will then be congruent with their normal hormone levels without their testicles.

Those girls did not vote for democrats...they are minors...
And exactly how would you know for certain that those girls’ parents voted for dems?
I am in Illinois...I had a daughter competing at State level, and I did not vote for Dems who control state...
The real way to end the insanity is for women to refuse to compete in any athletic event against men that say they are women.
This insanity would soon go away.
My advice to you great lady athletes is just say “I will not compete against men that call themselves women and kiss my ass.”

The only test that would be accurate is a chromosome test.

You really can’t see the difference between women competing in men’s sports and men competing in women’s sports?
Canton is a swing town...the town has 68 more Dems than Reps (2373 to 2303) but independents are 2850 plus 83 minor parties. Danbury has a Republican Mayor and Glastonbury has 1050 more Dems than Republicans (6554 D 5504 R) and 8400 independent.

From my very limited reading it won’t work.
Males are born to grow differently than girls; stronger, denser bones and musculature that begin showing as toddlers and accelerate with puberty.
Even with a male taking massive amounts of estrogen they still have that biological advantage.
As long as males keep their testicles they have a huge advantage with testosterone production.
In males 19 and up the testosterone level is 240-950 nanograms/decaliter
Females age 19 and range from 8-60 ng/dl.
Even when taking estrogen and testosterone blockers the level in trans(fake)women is much higher than the 8-60 level in real women.
There are also differences in how the brains of males and females differ in the production and use of serotonin and dopamine, neurotransmitters that effect learning, coordination and physical activity.
One study suggests that females have fewer receptors that are affected by neurotransmitters and this effects physical activity as well as why females are more likely to develop bi-polarism and face depression disorders.
The higher receptor count in males is thought to be a factor in males being more likely to develop Parkinsons.
If I’m wrong in any of this I don’t mind being corrected.
Their bones will still be stronger, unless they too lighten up with a sustained decrease in testosterone.

Majority of women vote Democratic. And look at the polls...most women don’t like Trump.
Certainly not all women are leftists. I know that. But most DO vote for the Democrats....especially single young women who this transgender sports debate would most likely effect.
You go, girls! (The real ones, I mean.)
and with the right judge, they will win.
At that point you tell the “judge” to ram it where the sun don’t shine and keep right on doing as you damn well please. That’s how you do defiance in the face of idiocy : you force ideocy to escalate.
