President Trump tweeted out earlier Thursday that he was getting ready to meet with New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, but also took a whack at Cuomos brother, who works at CNN.
Im seeing Governor Cuomo today at The White House, Trump tweeted. He must understand that National Security far exceeds politics. New York must stop all of its unnecessary lawsuits & harassment, start cleaning itself up, and lowering taxes.
Trump added: Build relationships, but dont bring Fredo!."

The Fredo reference is a nod to The Godfather films and Trump is comparing Chris Cuomo a CNN anchor and the governors brother to a character in the film who ultimately betrays his brother. The reference was first made by a Trump supporter last summer in a viral video that saw the television journalist get irate with the man for the insult.

He can wait in the car.
Handwringing over Trumps tweets in 3, 2, 1.......
There better not be ONE PERSON on this board who needs Fredo’s character in “The Godfather” explained to them!
When you’re old enough to read out here, you get 2 books.
The Bible and The Godfather :)
One is The Book of your religion, a book that tells you everything you need to know to get through this life, tells you of right and wrong, love and hate, revenge and redemption, despair and hope.
And then there’s the Bible which is GREAT too!
JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!
I Love it! He knows Cuomo is in a bind and is essentially going to the WH with hat in hand. So why not throw a few darts at the man who has said the most awful things about POTUS, his family and constituents.
I’m Italian descent on both sides AND I live in NY.
I approve of this tweet.
I would have said much worse.
In the movie, Fredo sleeps with the fishes, in that lake.
How can one insult a Cuomo?
Cuomo: I can handle things. Im smart. Not like everybody says, like dumb. Im smart and I want respect!”
Trump. “Cuomo, you’re nothing to me now..”
Daddy Mario was Fredo, Sr. Figures he would have two idiot sons
“Send Fredo off to do this; Send Fredo off to do that.” “Let Fredo host some Mickey Mouse program on CNN.” “Send Fredo to pick somebody up at the airport.”
>>>As they say in NY: Trump is a Pisser<<<
I think they also say he has Chutzpah!
It’s not an insult if it’s true.
Trump should have said: come and we make the peace. Then as an aside, he should have said Como is a pimp. He could never stand up to ICE. It was not until this I learned that Soros is the real enemy.
Sorry, Chris Fredo is not an insult to Italians unless you consider the original Fredo, Teddy Kennedy, Italian.
I would have preferred him to tell him, “Now go home and get your f’ing shinebox!”
ROFL!!
I like the soros touch :)
One has to understand, that these insults sprinkled so liberally over the landscape are not just casual chatter or an unthinking excess of testosterone. Keep in mind, that under that crude, rude, and sometimes lewd facade, there is one quick-thinking and might shrewd gamesman.
Donald J. Trump does not start out, saying to himself, “I’m going to set up this person as my enemy.” His enemies self-select themselves, and only after the first barb is thrown, does The Donald go into counter-punch mode. As anyone who has ever been on the receiving end of one of these counter-punches can attest, it can be both swift and devastating.
The Family Cuomo is well advised to keep it civil and suck it up, if they do not wish to incur even further wrath.
Donald Trump can wrath a lot.
