Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez teased an appearance for a TV drag show by saying she is pledging allegiance "to the drag."
The 10-second clip was posted on Twitter by the verified account for RuPaul's Drag Race. "Join the Ruvolution!" the New York Democrat said in the promotional video on Thursday. "I am Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and I pledge allegiance to the drag."
In November, the 30-year-old congresswoman had also met with Sasha Velour, a star from the show. "The revolutionary of our time," Velour said about the congresswoman.
