When you have to ask folks not to troll a regular thread, it’s time to shut ‘er down.
And I believe I’m the first person to suggest a regular thread on this subject.
The subject threads can speak for themselves.

The lungs get a cracked glass appearance on CT scans. That is what they are looking for.
I know what you mean. There are several folks who come on every day saying, “It’s just the flu” without adding anything to the discussion.
I thought being “nice” about it was better than taking off their head and getting banned.

Last week, our grocery store only had two small bottles of hand sanitizer with alcohol which I bought. Make sure y’all read the ingredients for alcohol.
No rubbing alcohol. The week before, I scored the only two small alcohols.
They’ve been out of Lysol spray this whole time. Bought two Clorox wipes which is better than nothing.
This likely isn’t the same around the country but am wondering if small towns have the same problem. Our only store is always like shopping in Venezuela. If they have something, it’s only the small size and just one or two. Or they get some weird product no one wants and fills half the aisle with it just to fill the otherwise empty shelves.

I didn’t check the regular alcohol. I did ask a pharmacist, I have known for a couple of decades what happened to the hand sanitizers with alcohol.
She said everyone working in the pharmacy and then in the store started buying the hand sanitizers last week. She suggested to go Amazon.com when I got home to order refill bottles. I did, and Amazon is out and will be shipping my order for 6 bottles next week.
My wife is a retired RN and she keeps us well supplied with Lysol spray, the Clorox spray and wipes.
Our relatives in the midwest and flyover country are running into the same shortage problems re the hand sanitizer with alcohol and the other products we have mentioned.
All modern distribution systems are built around just in time delivery, JITD. If you quarantine a modern city for more that 48 hours, everything starts to run out.
Safeway is having a sale on our favorite plan bottled water at $2/case versus $4, with a limit of 3 cases per customer. We will be there sometime this morning and I will buy 3 cases and so will she.
On that same trip to Walmart, I bought an extra propane canister/bottle for our combo charcoal/propane grill master with a side burner. I will buy another one this week.
None of these purchases will spoil or go out of date, if they aren’t needed to isolate ourselves.

Geez that is scary, but it is probably the best diagnosis available for hospitalized patients re isolating them from other patients.
