God bless him.
Yo...black Virginians look how your democrat votes work for you.
Sounds like he has read the Bible.
Better to have a stone tied around your neck and cast into a lake than harm one of those little ones.
Democrats are for free speech!
What are the Rats doing having a pastor open the session with a prayer? Did they want to boo God? Was there going to be a follow up prayer to their lord Beelzebub?
Waiting for the “Uncle Tom” epithet to be dropped....
Ah yes the first amendment right of freedom from religion.
Talk about entering the Lion’s den. Rest assured they will go after him.
Good man
I wonder what his race has to do with this story? Would they have said a white preacher if that had been the case? Just pointing out liberal hypocrisy.
Trump needs to invite him to the WH Pronto! For a “Summit”
They better repent while they still have a chance to enter heaven and they wont be the ones banging the gavels.
Hardcore abortionist Speaker there. So, she was pissed!
Delegate Filler-Corn is a staunch defender of and advocate for reproductive freedom and has remained committed to protecting womens access to reproductive healthcare during her time in the House and as Virginia House minority leader.
They won’t make that mistake again. I suspect they will do more research next time and only invite abortion loving black pastors. Shirley there’s a few out there.
amen amen amen!
Awesome.
.
“Democratic Speaker Eileen Filler-Corn banged her gavel to end the prayer”
Really?
No man would have done that.
Uh.....yes Mam, it was.
Do you prefer to wait until you hear it from the White Throne, when you have no chance to repent?
Excellent!!!!
I see both sides. Yes, life is precious and marriage is sacred. The problem is that the Pastor’s “prayer” was a speech and it was just too long. Sheesh. The seven minute prayer could have been said in three minutes. The politicians were nervous that the pastor would talk forever. The topic of marriage triggered the anxiety of the politicians. Moral of the story: do not exploit the wonderful opportunity to pray before the council meeting.
