ROME Pope Francis said Wednesday that weeping for ones sins is a grace that Christians should aspire to.
Reflecting on the second Beatitude Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted the pope said in his General Audience in the Vatican that a key dimension of this blessing is tears for sin for ones own sin when the heart bleeds from the pain of having offended God and neighbor.

Just the Christians. The rest of you carry on as usual. SMDH! I remember, in the not too distant past, when the papal position was a respected thing. So, which cardinals voted and made this guy pope?

So.........you're supposed to be comforted for weeping for your sins?
That's a new concept.

This pope leaves a lot to be desired. But, maybe part of God’s plan. Well, everything is that.

This pope is the Nancy Pelosi of the Catholic religion. He loves to hurl “holier than thou” accusations at us but this pope is pro gay, pro contraception (and borderline pro abortion), pro open borders, pro “climate change, I could go on and on. I’m starting to think he was given the papacy just so Obama/Merkel/Francis could play act at being Reagan/Thatcher/Pope John Paul.

How about Franny weeps for the log in his own eye?

Most of us American Catholics have never had any use for the Vatican. I haven’t. The only pope that was a credit to the Catholic faith was Pope John Paul The Second.

Im more focused with repenting my sins, but thats just me.
But then again, Pope Francis seems to re writing the definition of sins from Ten Commandments and Sermon on the Mount type stuff to excessive CO2 footprints, plastic trash disposal, resisting Islamic invading migrant and being excessively enthusiastic about obsolete and outmoded Christian principles taught by some dead white guy 2000 years ago
But who am I to judge?

1. The Biblical command is to repent, not to weep.
2. A lot of us differ with His Un-holiness about what is sinful.
