Ever see the Chinese do anything like they are doing? I wonder why they are doing that for the normal flu? I’m scratching my head. What are your thoughts?

Hubei added a new category “clinically diagnosed case”
4890 new clinically diagnosed cases were added, and 10,567 existing clinically diagnosed cases;

and many are saying they that they aren’t counting conformed cases unless the person is showing symptoms

These numbers look less serious than the normal flu death count.

I’ve read that repeatedly - the numbers are normal for flu, are made worse by some conditions in China (bathrooms without hand soap, locking people inside quarantine buildings etc.).

I’ve also heard that China is exploiting this as a means to “disappear” undesirables. Just pick them up, claim they have flu, haul them into a secured zone, report later that they succumbed.

I’ve been surprised at how far China will go to manipulate their numbers. And I’m more distrustful of the CCP than most.

Seriously, they'll have to convince very hard-headed capitalists. I don't think they can.

Down to about 19.1% now. Also, the “recovered” number is becoming more significant, now over 10% of total infected.

I also see that the early mortality deaths/(deaths+recoveries) for just Hubei are over 28%, while “all others”, including other parts of China, have a mortality of only 2.2%. I’m sure some of this could be explained by time and an overwhelmed healthcare system, but that is a huge disparity. Some provinces in China show over 200 recovered, with zero or just 1 death. I have to think some of these numbers, if not all of them, are BS.

Soooo, who here is up for bringing the Diamond Princess here to treat the passengers?

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

The perplexing thing for me is that fake numbers won’t convince the Western investors and buyers China’s economy depends on
