Bill Gates Reportedly Buys $644 Million Aqua Yacht, Shipbuilder Says Sale Hasn’t Happened Yet

Bill Gates has reportedly ordered himself a gigantic yacht.

According to the The New York Post, the Telegraph reported that Gates had ordered the $644 million Aqua yacht from the Dutch design firm Sinot. However, Sinot told the New York Post no deal has been done just yet. Still, if something is in the works, the yacht sounds absurd.

Whether or not Gates ever takes control of Aqua, it’s such a power move to even consider spending $644 million on a boat.

I’ve always been obsessed with yachts. I’m not even sure why, but I just think they’re awesome. A yacht isn’t just a status symbol.

It’s a lifestyle choice. When you’re living on a yacht, you’re essentially telling the world you’re living a carefree lifestyle.

Hi.

Beautiful vessel. Any armaments? Defensive capabilities?

If not, that H better be behind steel or titanium.

Pirates ya know. Arrrgh!

Video of the Aqua Yacht:

After a few trips on this paradise on water, Gates will not want to work anymore. He’ll just want to party and get high on pot. The only worry he’ll have is someone falling over the side during a global warming induced storm (he’ll think it’s global warming—my thinking is another matter).

The Aqua's huge hydrogen tanks are one of its many design highlights

Are we sure that's the safest option?!

Can it run submerged?

I think it looks like a home-made sub, not a yacht. Ugly.

Why doesn't he build a motorized island? THAT would be cool. He could build some skyscrapers on it. It sounds more like a Musk idea. He isn't near as creative as Musk.

Anyway, he could have roads on it and he could drive around to all his favorite restaurants. Or his chauffeur could drive him. And Musk could visit him by landed a rocket on it. Then he could drive his Tesla out of the rocket and they could have a drag race.

You see all the flash and glitter, it is nothing to the sea. A storm will crumple it, not could crumple it, will. Pride goeth before a fall.

Sitting in a boat on Lake of the Woods - I’m guessing that you were just as happy as the other guy! I grew up in Minnesota. Shack on the lake, aluminum fishing boat with a 3.5 HP motor my grandfather won in the weekly card game at the resort at the end of the bay. Sigh...

He’s worth about

$110,000,000,000.

Even if the boat sinks with no insurance, he’ll still have

$109,330,000,000.

Bill Gates will ‘save’ $800 a year in fuel costs - and add billions of dollars in energy wastes for use of materials and labor and ‘energy signatures’ for all those people salaries and their purchases - for decades.

What an idiot.

Gates and Greta are among the few stupid enough to think the only energy signature that matters is the one put into the gas tank... ignoring ‘the vehicle’... workers, factories, mining and transportation costs of of of of it all.... for their ‘transportation’.

If Greta and Bill Gates were right, we’d all be traveling by sailboat or mega-yacht...
