My BIL is in to cars and he said that PDJT is doing a payback for this law by stopping the international shipping of cars in and out of NYS. That is cutting “yugely” in to NY’s economy in a bad way, since the majority of east-coast vehicle shipping is via NY. (Don’t know if I heard this correctly, but it’s how I inferred what BIL said.)

Just what BIL told me. He hasn’t heard it via news, but through the journals and blogs strictly used by gearheads, and there’s a lot of grumbling about it amongst those people. I don’t know personally, so just take it for what it’s worth.
