David Duke was and is a Democrat. He’s even shown one of the members of The Squad some love on twitter.
Amazon is being hypocritical in this policy.
I have no interest in any of these publications. Just curious why other hateful tracts are carried there.
I consider it trash too, but I am alarmed at the fact they carried it in the first place, and now want to get rid of it.
When they were carrying it, was this because there was a demand for it? And they sold it because they put money over principle?
Years ago I had a Jewish friend who lamented to me that he couldn't find a copy of "Mein Kampf." I asked him why in the world he wanted such a thing and he said he wanted to see what was in it. Perhaps he would one day want to refute it or something, and in any case he was interested in seeing it.
Nowadays it's not so difficult to find stuff like this, but he told me at the time he couldn't find one.
And it's a business decision to censor conservative videos on YouTube, or videos critical of Islam, or any other videos their San Fransisco headquarters doesn't like, because everyone knows they can't make any money off of videos that people in San Fransisco don't like.
Twitter only censors conservatives or libertarians they don't like. Facebook only censors conservatives or libertarians they don't like.
They are going to "business decision" us into Nazism.
That ship sailed long ago.
Not to quibble, but they're ONE side of the same coin.

I am more concerned about their systematic removal of books on conversion therapy.
Censorship is a dangerous road to go down.
Are they now going to draft a set of rules and review every book that they carry?
Are they going to setup a review board?

It is only a matter of time before they remove any history that was to educate the public on the myriad of problems that caused secession and the Civil War. There will only be the Northern perspective.

Which is fine, I am selective about what books I take in for trade or will search for on commission.
However when you say you will carry any book no matter how offensive and then decide "except for those because I don't like them" you are going to justifiably be called a hypocrite.
Or "Rules for Radicals"? Or "The Audacity of Dope ..., er ... I mean ... Hope" or whatever that obamanation of a ghost-written screed was called?
You won't get an argument from me that Amazon is hypocritical. I believe you that it's selling objectionable material that it's not removing.
Wishing for a similar family-friendly business where we can buy books, movies, etc., without worrying so much about content. There are Christian booksellers out there, but their prices tend to be higher.
The materials mentioned in the article (at least in the excerpt) aren't conservative.
But, yes, some businesses and social media networks do remove material with conservative points of view. Let's stop doing business with them.
The baker won his case (thank goodness), last I heard, anyway.
