Despite President Trump's acquittal on two articles of impeach, ment in the Senate last week, democrat impeachment managers seem determined to keep their pursuit of the issue alive.
Rep. Jerry Nadler, the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, says the House will "likely" subpoena John Bolton: "When you have a lawless president ... you have to protect the Constitution, whatever the political consequences"
The president's impeachment trial likely will end in acquittal today, but Democrats' investigations won't: House Judiciary Committee chairman Jerry Nadler says John Bolton, one of Trump's former national security advisers, likely will be called to testify. https://trib.al/zd2mWRD
Rep. Nadler Says House Will Likely Subpoena John Bolton
The former national security adviser had said he would comply with a Senate subpoena during the impeachment trial, but Senators blocked witnessesnpr.org
But according to a new survey from Rasmussen Reports, the vast majority of American voters want Democrats to move on. Further, they think impeachment made President Trump stronger.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that only 32% of Likely U.S. Voters think House Democrats should continue their efforts to remove Trump from office. Sixty-two percent (62%) say Democrats in Congress should now focus on other issues.
For Democratic voters, it’s a close call: 48% say their representatives in the House should continue their efforts to remove Trump from the White House, but 43% say they should focus on other issues. Seventy-seven percent (77%) of Republicans and 70% of voters not affiliated with either major party say House Democrats should zero in on other issues.
Fifty-five percent (55%) of all voters think the unsuccessful attempt to remove Trump from office has made him stronger politically. Just 16% say it has made him weaker, while 23% believe the failed impeachment effort has had no impact
When nearly half of Democrats say it's time to move on...it's long past time to move on.
In the meantime, President Trump is in New Hampshire for a rally tonight while democrats who want his job continue to campaign in the Granite State.
How do you have a “lawless president” when even the Democrats couldn’t find a single criminal charge to use against him?
If Trump is stronger, then that would seem to almost guarantee another impeachment try by the DEMs in the next few months.
The Democraps are using the old Nazi Goebbels method of repeating the lie often enough until it becomes the truth.........
He's breaking the law. Every day.
We all are. The law is so complex that many actions can be interpreted as running against some technicality. I can't count the number of tortured media analyses alleging one violation or another by a member of the opposite party from the one they favor.
Good question...The Rats and especially Nadless, Schiffty and San Fran Nan have a way of twisting words (better known as lying) to benefit themselves.
Like their demise.
Maybe Democrats should look at their history and stand accountable for many of their own injustices. They could start with FDR.
...but they won’t
Will it include accordion music and dancing clowns?
Democrats like Nadler are becoming ineffective in controlling/maintaining anything. Oddly in a weird way, fun to watch and learn.
Maybe Nadler and Schiff and Bolton and Romney can all get together at Panera and have a great time talking about how much they have in common. In the meantime, the President is going to continue to work for the American people.
Lets Keep This FReepathon Moving and Wrap It Up, Folks!
You mean..move on to MORE BULLSH*T to throw at Teflon Don.
Just accept 4 more years come November assholes..
Maybe go on to trying to solve bed-wetting by two year olds.
Pelosi said something about implied breaking the law like you were going to do it even though you didn’t so therefor you’re guilty of premeditation in breaking the law. Allegedly.
We are. Orange Man Bad. Peach.
“Minority Report.”
“Pre-crime.”
Who needs that? We already have conspiracy, but that takes more than one person.
