I saw "Unplanned," and "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" in the theater. Both were great views, although I wouldn't take a child to see either one.

Normally, two theater visits a year is my max (they're disgusting places).

“Dark Waters”

The reviews call it anti-capitalist/ pro-socialist swill. How is this an affirmation of American values? Has anybody seen it?

We saw Richard Jewell, Ford v Ferrari and 1917. I thought they were all well done, particularly Richard Jewell. I have absolutely no interest in seeing dark waters. I will never see anything that Ruffalo is in.....also missed his speech at the Oscars last night. Fast forward is my very good friend.

I saw Unplanned and Breakthrough. Of the two I thought Breakthrough was better. There are several others on this list I’m hoping to see.

My wife and I are both movie fans, but I get soooo frustrated when we’re in the theater and I see someone’s phone come on. They’re usually checking Facebook or texts. And, yes, I’m the person who politely says, “Shut off your phone, please.” There are several notices before the movie to silence your phone, and reminders that a bright little screen in a darkened theater is a distraction — but it just doesn’t seem to stop people. I’ve always believed if you can’t go two hours without checking your phone, you have no business in a movie theater.

By the way, I have my own movie room at home with a 100” screen and rockin’ surround sound. I spend most of my time there, rather than in a theater.

Midway should have been on the list for the same reasons as 1917.

We seldom go to the theater to see movies. There are some on this list we will watch on Amazon when they become available.
