AYAHUALTEMPA, Mexico Before he picked up a rifle and joined a squad of armed children, Alex wanted to become a schoolteacher. Hed teach anything whatever the principal asks because spending his days in a classroom sounded pretty good.
He was 13, a B student with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles bicycle who got nervous around the girls in his middle school.
Then, in November, as violence surged in the mountains of Guerrero state, the men of Ayahualtempa decided it was time for their sons to take up arms.

Auto defenses, or self-defense forces, are legal in Guerrero state and recognized by the federal government.
In other words, a well regulated militia.

Nothing in Mexico is well-regulated.
One of my church choir members is from Acapulco, in Guerrero state. It’s as bad as Sinaloa or Michoacan now.
He just picked up a rifle?
Like it was just laying around?
Mexico has some of the “toughest” gun control laws on the planet. It is nearly impossible for a law abiding Mexican citizen to legally own a legal rifle.
There is exactly ONE legal gun store in the entire country open to the public.

The headline and excerpt of this article is plenty for me.
Washington Post!!
Bring on the Pulitzer. It sounds like the Post’s Janet Cook with her made up story of Little Jimmy’s World” where he was raised in cocaine filled world. The Post (editors Woodward and Bernstein) new the series was fiction before the Pulitzer was awarded to her, but they continued to push to ensure they got it.
Lying is a habit for libs.
I dont know how fake this article is. But if the snip below is true, Id sure as hell would train and arm my kids if I lived in that town.
Last month, 10 musicians from those towns traveling to a concert were shot and burned beyond recognition. One of them was 15 years old.
Oh, I’m sure some or much of it is true. It is a war zone down there. I would want my kids to have a chance.
“Mexico has some of the toughest gun control laws on the planet. “
Let’s hope the ones immigrating here hate the filthy Mexican gun laws enough to not vote democrat.
Guerrero is the WORST part of Mexico and has been for a long time.
