he was very insubordinate, reported contents of my “perfect” calls incorrectly, & was given a horrendous report by his superior, the man he reported to, who publicly stated that Vindman had problems with judgement, adhering to the chain of command and leaking information,' he continued.

'In other words, “OUT”,' Trump concluded. He is spending the weekend at the White House after dramatically firing Vindman and EU Ambassador Gordon Sondland on Friday.

[Vindmans lawyer:]'While the most powerful man in the world continues his campaign of intimidation, while too many entrusted with political office continue to remain silent, Lieutenant Colonel Vindman continues his service to our country as a decorated, active duty member of our military,' continued the statement from attorney David Pressman, a partner at Boies Schiller Flexner.

The President had the right to fire him for insubordination! He didn’t have to give a reason...

All true. Vindman is lucky that he got reassigned to another post and not kicked out of the Army for insubordination.

This retired Army Officer thinks Vindman should be forced into retirement now, effective the end of the month when retirements are done. Good bye slug.

Just remember, the liberal lawyers are lined up begging the Vindmen to sue for wrongful whatever so they can make a big federal case out of this and try to get a big settlement that WE will pay.

Trump knows where the lines are drawn and he’s going right up to them but not over. DO not give these punks the satisfaction!

Again, it would have been a more powerful statement if he didn’t “explain” it on TWITTER.

I have seen and heard the name ‘Boies’ [spelling?] before. I think he may have been a lawyer for Bill Clinton during his impeachment - or alternately a lawyer for Hillary.

Is his first name David?

Can any Freeper verify this?

Personally I think Trump would be smart to stop talking about this. Calling him insubordinate implies that he disobeyed Trumps orders which raises the question What orders? Schiff is not done here I don’t think. He’ll use everything Trump says against him. There is no point in talking further about it.

David Boies, best known for his involvement in the 2000 Florida recount. He has been a Democrat crime family attorney for many years.

Yes, David Boies of Boies-Schiller in NYC. Defending Harvey Weinstein and Theranos now, I think.

Is his first name David? (Boies)

I believe he was also involved the 2000 election during the Sore-Loserman Charade.

Having spent 20 years active Army both enlisted and commissioned service. I believe that he should be “requested” to either resign or retire for the good of the service...at a minimum. And his brother Yevgeny also be relieved of his reserve commission.

Vindman was commissioned out of Infantry OCS in 1999. It is my bet he will retire with his 20 as he will have difficulties with almost any assignment he will get after his public insubordinate behavior in uniform.

Ex US Army officer here as well, although I didn’t retire. RIF’d in 1973.

Is the rule for officers still “up or out”. How many times do you get passed over for promotion before you are forced to leave as an officer?
