This is a video of an apartment building on fire in Wuhan today. This building is OCCUPIED.

My wife is fairly new to the US (8 months from China) and today she has started to finally see how the Chinese government and system really treats their subjects. A sobering experience for her, to say the least.

My prayers go out to everyone in China right now.

Other videos posted surreptitiously have shown major cities like Shanghai to be ghost towns. Virtually no cars or bikes on the street, very few people out, shops closed. Fire department too, apparently.

Building processes there are scary at best. I had forgotten that building in Britain until you mentioned that!

Maybe a prudent way to address the pandemic. No position to criticize as we don’t know how serious the pandemic really is. If you and your Chinese wife are concerned, maybe move back to China and fix things.

Are you for real? Are you saying that a prudent way to address the pandemic is for people who are in emergency services occupations to quit doing their duties? Let the people inside burn up, so the disease cannot spread? Then you tell the guy who has a Chinese wife that if he is concerned, he should take his wife and get out of the US and move back to China and get to work on fixing things?

Family now says this is Chongqing today, not Wuhan. Chongqing is locked down too, sorry for the wrong city.
