I am not supposed to talk about politics at work. I am in sales. Sometimes I see someone wearing a MAGA hat or a Trump 2020 hat and comment, I like your Hat. Well today I was working with a husband and wife customer. They were very chatty, asking questions and listening to information about our products, when the wife asked me where I was from.
It is a frequent question because I have an Accent. I told her I am originally from Ukraine. Well that was the trigger she was waiting for. She immediately began bashing President Trump and his administration for the Russia Collusion and the Ukraine Phone call. Trump withholding Aid and how Bernie Sanders should be the next President. Then she rambled on and bashed the President for another five minutes. Then, with a very proud smile on her face she asked me what I thought?
Well to heck with political correctness! I answered. "I came from The Soviet Socialist part of the Ukraine. I barely survived the 25 years I lived there. I am often amazed at the ignorance of people who know nothing about life under a socialist regime praising the virtues of Socialism. I had free medical and it was terrible, and never free. I got free education, until it came time for college and when I was not a member of the communist party was rejected.
The country gave me a mandatory job in a State owned milk factory. I spent hours a day in lines to find basic goods and services. I was sexually harassed almost on a daily basis. I had to listen to the daily drum beat of fake news and propaganda about how we were the only super power in the world and how we lived a better than anyone else in the world.
Yet, I could not travel abroad to see for myself. I was not allowed to wear western cloths or read western magazines, because they were classified as a danger to society. No thank you, I will be voting for President Trump. He loves America almost as much as I do. He wants to keep the rule of law to protect my individual liberties and allow me, self determination. He actually has helped Ukraine more than all former US Presidents combined and Israel too. He is going to expose the Media, the Democrat Party and the corrupt Intelligence agencies under Obama for colluding in a coup to remove a duly elected President.
I live in the greatest country on earth and it will stay that way because of the things President Trump is doing and in spite of the things the Democrat Party is doing to destroy it.
Now, Would like to purchase this product?
The woman was getting madder with ever word and the husband was standing behind her with his mouth on the floor. She stormed off and told him to finish with me because she couldn't take any more of this. He sheepishly gave me his info and thanked me for helping .. Isn't America the greatest place on earth?
I felt great the rest of my shift because I think the husband is a closet Conservative.
It is time to be more like President Trump and stand up for what is right and say hell no to political correctness! MAGA!
We take the freedoms of our nation for granted. I hope you appreciate as I have the ‘patriotic voice’ of this American citizen.
She should stand up for her beliefs in her private life, not on the job. Even though the customer instigated it, she should have focused on selling whatever it’s her job to sell.
This resonated with me. I have worked as a sales professional for 30 years. I avoid discussions of religion and politics like the third rail. It is really amusing as people try to draw me into their position. Regardless of the customers point of view they leave being quite certain that I, with a nod and a wink, agree with them. Because I have one goal: I make great decisions for customers that they agree to pay for.

I agree with you. The Dem/Socialist like nothing better than to complain to someone’s employer, and have you lose your job. That gives the Dem/Socialist deep and lasting satisfaction to have made you as miserable as they are inside.
When it comes to TDS, oftentimes, the women are far worse than the men. Maybe they can’t stand the idea of a man who they cannot push around by using implied guilt.
I understand that. I can’t say that I have always handled every situation to perfection, just got enough things right often enough. That is the definition of an art as sales is not a science.

I LOVE IT! Atheism aside, Ayn Rand would be proud! And no, I am not dismissing atheism as the pestilence on society it is, just musing about how Ayn Rand had the same revelation about her former home that this woman did.
B.S. This is America, and just as that woman expressed herself she should be allowed to express herself.
If she loses her job so be it. The company can hire a socialist to take her place and most likely be less productive. Needless to say I strongly disagree with you.

I wear my MAGA, NRA, GOA caps everywhere I go. I have my Veterans for Trump sticker on the bumper to my roadster. Along with small NRA, GOA, USMC and, USN stickers in the upper and lower corners of the rear window.
If people in public vocally smear our President I publicly and vocally defend him.
We should all follow this womans example and do the same.
I was the lone Republican in a democrat office for years and years and years. I found out years later the elected official really wanted to get rid of me . . .but looking back on it all, God put me there and kept me there even through two more Democrat bosses.
The wife was an obnoxious and boorish brat and she intentionally put the poor saleswoman on the spot. Normally I would agree with you, but in this case I say she got exactly what she asked for and it was her own damn fault.
